Reviews of TitleMax Title Pawns
"When I came in today Shelby and Monae made the process quick and easy. They are absolutely wonderful."
"I have been a customer for a few months. I started my TitleMax account at the Jonesboro store with Tyqeuria, who was the Manager prior to Shelby. She was very professional and engaged with her customers. My car was picked up and I was able to get it back but got very sick shortly after. I went into the store (actually, while I was sick) to advise of my situation. The representative (Monae) was very professional and notated my account. I received a phone call from the store this evening but was asleep ( I work at night), and returned the call and Shelby answered. I immediately stated who I was and that I would be making my payment on Friday since I was just getting back to work and had not received my paycheck yet. She immediately made me aware that it was not her problem and she “needed my car and my keys.” This continued throughout our entire conversation. I totally agree that my problem is not at all, her concern or her problem ,but her delivery was not what I expected from a store manager. “There is no grace period, and regardless of what is going on , you being sick and out of work, you signed a contract.” was the response from Shelby. As a customer who was being accountable, I felt our conversation could have went in another direction. I have been in management for over 30 years. I have trained CSR’s to do exactly what she does daily. Regardless of the customer’s situation, I would NEVER communicate to a constituent that “YOU” or your situation doesn’t matter. You have some customers ( I’m sure) that are hiding vehicles and dodging your calls, but when someone shows that they are doing their due diligence to communicate, and doing their best, that should count for something. I am sure that this is not a representation of the TitleMax way of conducting business. I was not asking her to do anything against the law, just a few more days so I can make a payment. I understand she has a job to do, but there is a certain level of professionalism that a Manager is to uphold. Sometimes the energy that you give is what you will receive. She may not get a nice or accountable customer the next time. I am certain that there have been others who have experienced similar conversations with her and received the same delivery. I may, one day, be the very person that walks into your store to do your review. If the shoe was on the other foot, I am absolutely positive you would want someone to help and/or listen to you. Shelby, you are a young Manager. YOU are the face and representation of your company. I don’t know what your true passion is, but in customer service, you have to deal with all types of people and personalities. Times are hard and people are going through so many life changes and hardships. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. It will go a long way. “Disappointed”"
"If I could give below 1✨ I would. I went to this location last week with my Aunt and I was thinking of doing a pawn myself on my 2019 Challenger. After seeing how the manager was talking to my aunt I think her name was Shelly, small girl with a face full of freckles I decided against it. Number one my aunt didn't have the exact change and she told her they don't give change she told her she will have to pay everything she has. That was a lie because my aunt told her the young lady who took her payment last month who sat next to her broke a bill for her. Shelly then went on to say that's why she's no longer with the company because she was doing things she wasn't supposed to be doing. My Aunt was surprised because she was saying how sweet of a girl she was. But that Shelly girl was very unprofessional saying things like that being that she is a manager. Then she told my Aunt in a very ghetto tone that if shes late again even one day they will come pick up her car so she needs to make sure she is on time. I don't know who hired her but she is not manager material and I'm gone make it known. I still may do a pawn but not at that location I don't deal with people like that. She's gonna run y'all business into the ground."
"Greatest customer service ever i recommend the 6639 Tara Blvd Store ask Tee she is gonna get you right.. I DONT KNOW WHAT TITLE MAX PAY YOU BUT TELL THEM TO TRIPLE IT… Again felt like a breeze of fresh air.."
"Takeria was absolutely great and professional. She explained everything and made sure 5o give me tips to make sure I succeed in paying the loan back. The process was painless."
