"I've been with Ameris bank for over 10 years. I was a customer before they were even Ameris and I have always stayed with them even though their app frustrated me but today was the last day they get my business. This particular branch and ALL of its managers decided to lose a long time customer because they were not willing to cash and deposit a check for me. Their reasoning was it is against policy because it isn't an Ameris check. I have cashed and deposited much larger checks at other Ameris bank locations without any issue and actually a thanks for being with us for so long. This branch and the managers here just lost you and account who has been with you for a long time and would've stayed but over $1,100 now I will be taking my money and business elsewhere. Just ridiculous. You need new management."
