"This bank double dipped on bill pay and they still haven't refunded the $750 that they had no right to take out of my account. It needs to be said that my issue was fixed but only after going through their corporate office. After it was fixed the Branch Manager asked me to take down my review. No it is just that a review. I want people to know."

"I've about had it with this bank! If im overdrawn by $2 they'll charge me $37 fee. If im overdrawn, they won't cash a 2 party check for me. Its definitely time for me to find another bank!"

"I started banking at charter bank at 14. Charter was amazing. The merger with center state dropped the quality of customer service significantly. With the switch to south state it got bad. Overdraft fees and double withdrawals for bill pay are common. Ended up closing my account because of multiple disputed charges that were accepted then later denied, and my account would be double charged. Absolutely do not bank here."
