"The room was clean and nice. April was very responsive and helpful. This was all topped by the location. Woodsfield is a quaint country town where people walk the streets at night and sit on their porches. They wave as you pass and make you feel right at home."

"My husband and I stayed here overnight on a motorcycle tour. Location was convenient & host was super-accommodating and helpful. (It's family-owned.) Mexican restaurant right on the corner so we didn't have to gear up again to go out to eat, and gas stations located a block or two away so we could fill up right on our way out of town. Room is small but well-equipped. Would be cramped for 4 if you had to hang around on a rainy day! Overall, place is a nice combo of up-to-date touches with feel of a 1950s motor inn (which we love). We would definitely stay there again."

"The new owner / operator, April, was great. She was friendly, helpful, and seemed genuinely concerned that we would enjoy our stay. The place has been renovated and the rooms were nice and clean. We thoroughly check places for pest problems and could not find any indications of them. This is not a luxury place, but for a small motel in a small town it's one of the better ones I've ever stayed at. We will stay here again when in the area."
