Dealing with this company has been a nightmare. You cannot have a conversation with them . They want to argue and talk over you. Very disappointed to say the least. We have been with this company for years now. I think it's time to look for a new company."

"First major claim I've had to deal with in the 5 years I have been with Auto Owners. First of all, it took them 2 full days (3 if you include the holiday) after the claim was filed to get ahold of them, calling, leaving voicemails and emailing to get a rental squared away. They called back once at 4:30 and when I returned the call, no answer of course. As a single mom of 3, a car is a necessity. Finally after the person assigned to my claim called me, rental was set up and information was given about the process. The company who is supposed to pick up my vehicle from the wrecker, called the same day. 01/03). I was told the insurance company would schedule this but, they were told by me to pick it up anytime. The car was released by me to pick up on the same day. Today is the 8th and the company who is supposed to pick up my vehicle called again today to schedule the pick up. I personally work in the insurance business and customer service and have for many years. This is unacceptable. There is no telling how long this process is going to take to get a pay out to purchase another vehicle. From the way it is going, months. After so many years of paying thousands of dollars for car insurance, you would think they would make more effort to to process a claim. Easy to take my money every month but when it is time for them to bring their part, time means nothing to them."
