Parker's Restaurant 2800 East Walnut Avenue, Dalton, GA 30721

"Okay so I come to this restaurant my husband and I probably four out of five of the days it is open and so I pull up this morning and there's a note on the doors stating sorry closed on Thursday due to short of staff sorry so it was a surprise and shocker to me as I'm leaving a customer an older man pulls up tries one door goes to the another door and they let him in and lock the door right back because how I know that is I parked my car got out and walked to the door the gentleman walked in and it was locked and he was inside the restaurant and when I looked there's several people sitting down at tables enjoying breakfast so very confused at the sign says that y'all were closed yet only certain individuals are allowed in that is so unprofessional and down right wrong you cannot pick and choose who's worthy enough to be served at your restaurant that's not right and if it was the regulars that y'all were letting in I feel as if I'm considered a regular taking that I come there four out of five of the days that y'all are open. I absolutely love getting my breakfast from y'all I actually have wished and wanted Parker's to be open Saturdays and Sundays but I understand you know people need days off and so forth I get it but I'm down right very upset because I don't think I've ever felt the way I'm feeling now with any other restaurant. I am really really disappointed because it's not right you have a sign that says closed due to short staff yet you're picking and choosing who you let in the building I mean it's not like my order is humongous and tons of food it's either one to two biscuits along with one to two drinks. I am extremely disappointed. And now I have to drive clear across town to get breakfast because you are closed but yet you're picking and choosing who you let in to serve I may not be back ever that is how upset I am Update 12/21/23 I changed my rating bc things were just made right with me and u guys did an amazing job at customer service thank u for making it right"

"It's almost the setting of a Deep-South "Alice"; it's the same every time I go, and has been so for the last 30 years. The decor, The Long-Time Locals, The Staff, the exchanges and witty banter....it's a fantastic meal and a show every time we eat there. The experience alone is worth the price of admission, not to mention THE FOOD!! It makes me wish I had 2 mouths and 4 hands... Y'all go on and try it if you haven't already. You'll be back."

"The oldest same family owned restaurant in the town. The waitress Stephanie was busy but didn't miss a beat. The food was amazing. I mean really amazing. A must stop if you are passing through. Only flaw was a TINY bathroom."

"Decent little diner. We were getting our KIA serviced across the street so we ate lunch here while we waited. Great service and prices. The place is pretty clean too unlike a lot of small town diners. We both had the club sandwich which was fairly small but fine for the price. Certainly all that we needed. Fries seemed like they were the standard crinkle cut frozen ones and not great. Overall pretty good. We’d definitely stop again if stuck at the KIA dealership again."
