"Was passing through on my way back home, and decided to look up a little ma&pa shop to eat at real quick. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is awesome. Kinda small, but it's got that grandparents house feeling to it. However, my son got a Philly cheese steak and I, a burger. They both came out quick and was fresh and soft bread, but the meat on both felt bland and lacked season and flavor. The fries are just supermarket fries, so meh at best. I don't believe I'll be stopping by here in my future endeavors. But, would recommend you try it and give it your own opinion. Maybe the rest of the food makes up for it. Also, be careful with the sweet tea, it's legit the definition of sweet."
"Dixie Freeze is the gem of South Pittsburgh, TN. Whether it's the extra large, juicy, all beef burger, the delicious grilled canjun chicken sandwich, or the creamy, sweet malt shake, Dixie Freeze delivers a delightful punch to my ravenous appetite."
"The people who work here and the service are amazing. The food is also great. I wasn’t sure about the cranberry sauce being on top of my chicken and dressing, but it was really good. Also, inflation has not hit the Dixie Freeze. For a second I thought the bill for three of us was actually for one person. A must stop for good local food served by great people."
