"I am a US citizen. Yesterday, my daughter-in-law, who is Belgian, needed emergency help. Kitty at the Consulate General of Belgium really came through for her. The attention to detail, professionalism, and kindness exhibited astonished me. She went above and beyond what can or should be expected. She made what I would have thought of as impossible actually happen. She is certainly a great ambassador for Belgium."
"I could not be more impressed with the service I received Consulate General of Belgium's Atlanta Office. After months of work (and some conflicting information) to get all my documentation together for a single permit long-term work visa, Ms. Marleen Van Hulle was exceptionally helpful and gracious. She took time in 3 separate phone calls to patiently explain exactly what I needed to do, made the process as simple and painless as possible, and communicated clearly and directly at each stage of the process both on the phone and in subsequent emails. Ms. Van Hulle made me feel welcome to Belgium, and as I was able to do everything by courier service, my only regret is that I did not get to meet and thank her directly in person."
"I had a pleasant experience at the Consulate - the staff was very nice and knowledgable - appointments are hard to get but my experience was relatively smooth as I had all of the documents. Processing took about a week and I received updates through email communication. I applied for a single entry visa and got just 20 days - just enough for my trip, but definitely disappointing :/. Next time I will be careful to apply for a multi-entry visa so I can travel more freely. Thank you Marleen!"
"We got helped in a very friendly way. We got tips about things to visit. Viola made the whole process feel as super relax for us. We felt very welcome. We visited the aquarium later that day and had a blast. Thanks for the tips."
