"Dr J Zafar really changed my life. Really shocked me for him, as a doctor, to know what medications were covered under my insurance or not and make sure to find something cost effective. He really deserves more appreciation than what he gets - I’ve been to several psychiatrists in the Beckley area but he is the first to have set short & long term goals instead of throwing you on a million medications to take for the rest of your life. He isn’t burnout & knows modern & traditional medicine. Stays caring for his patients. One office window staff member is very rude, as mentioned in other reviews, but would rather have that than nice window staff & a doctor who doesn’t care!"

"Horribly unprofessional receptionist. When asked to correct a date on a Work excuse, I received inappropriate attitude, “Geez”, several rude remarks under her breath, slamming the paper down and arguing with me about how the Work Excuse was acceptable. She even went as far as to just scribble on the Work Excuse and expect me to except it instead of getting up and redoing another paper. To begin with we were looking to correct “Her” mistake in the first place. Anyone with a little common sense would know that if you’re excused from work that day, then clearly you’re to return the “NEXT” following day “NOT” that day, the same day! All this when asked nicely and politely. The Doctor however was ok, really didn’t get a feel for him yet, and won’t, for that was my first and last visit. When it’s all Said and done, if you are looking for a more welcoming and comfortable environment look elsewhere- trust me."
