Reviews of Build Your Own Pool Of Georgia
"This is one of those cases where if I could give more than 5 stars I would. We had our pool built 2 years ago, the process was seamless. The Business model that is offered is very unique in the industry, worth it for an estimate just to see how BYOP is so different. I wish our yard was bigger so I could add a 2nd pool, do not hesitate contacting the team."
"We had our pool installed last spring, the process was super fast. I had friends whose pool took 5 months while ours was 4 weeks! Because we are on a heavily traveled road we have People stop several times a month wanting to know our builder."
"The team is easy to work with and very knowledgeable.. This is my second pool with them. The pools have come out on budget and beautiful."
"My neighbors, my and I were amazed as how quickly and professionally everything was done. Communication was excellent, their customer service and office personnel were on top of their game. I would definitely recommend Build Your Own Pool to anyone and everyone. And Wendy, that lady knows her stuff as far as pools are concerned. Thank you Wendy, my pool, my backyard must be one of thee best in my area. Thanks again!"
"Wendy, It is obvious to anyone who reads this thread that our initial concerns and justification for your poor review is warranted – instead of attempting to service your customer to achieve satisfaction you explain how we are wrong and what you are not responsible for. I offer a few comments of clarification, but we recognize nothing will be done and will cease our comments on your review as this thread speaks for itself for anyone seeking a contractor to build a pool. Point one – your attempt to delegate the responsibility and quality of your job to your sub-contractors, where you are not responsible should concern anyone evaluating a pool builder. Regardless of your company name or legal structure and the payment arrangements, we contracted with your organization to build our pool. Point two – Mike, your cement patio guy “saw our contractor taking a wheelbarrow over the deck creating bad drag marks”. If this did happen ,and it did not, why wouldn’t Mike have stopped him or said something at that moment like “Hey – you are messing up my work!”. He did not because it did not happen – Mike acknowledged that there was no way for drag marks to be under the stamp – the stamps were very well defined on top of the drag marks which were simply poor workmanship when floating the concrete before the stamping process. There is no disputing this, so your comments only serve to question our integrity, which in return reflects upon yours. Point three – scuffing on the cement after he came back and “fixed it”. These are in fact grinder wheel marks from Mike’s team trying to remove the poor workmanship of the float edge from the original poor – every piece of furniture on patio deck is Ledge Lounger plastic. This grinding was done prior to the resealing of the patio to attempt to correct the original poor workmanship. The portion torn out and repoured has dips and hold water. As you stated yourself to us, “it was poured on a rainy day, and they should not have done it but I was pressuring them to fix it – if I had known I would have had them wait until the ground was dry”. Many of your subcontractors did beautiful work and it is unfortunate the stamped concrete patio doesn’t measure up to that same caliber. Warranty coverage, or not, we stand by our rating of your organization as the general contractor we engaged to build a six-figure pool at our home and your responses should provide insight into anyone seeking to engage you to build their pool."
