"Good customer services. I had an issue that was resolved fairly quickly. My only complaint is that a lifeguard who is a minor should not be working alone until 10:30 pm. Their safety is at risk. If anyone decides to swim after sunset than they are swimming at their own risk. Please review your lifeguard policy regarding minors and consider changing the hours with 8pm or 8:30 pm being the cutoff."
"Recommending the lifeguard services Nicholas is providing at Sleepy Hollow Pool in Orinda, California. He has been a fantastic addition. He is always uplifting, positive, in good spirits, very personable, and helpful. Thank you for placing him at our pool :-)"
"United pools has provided fantastic service in every aspect. Brad and other managers we have spoken to have been attentive and helpful. We use their life guard services for our neighborhood pool. One life guard in particular, Gavin, is great. He is thorough and attentive while watching our swimmers. Love having him!"
"This is the first Summer with United Pools at Ansley Golf Club, it has been a very Emotional & Memorable SUMMER. I am truly impressed with Prince, Jordie and DJ. These young men are very knowledgeable, friendly, professional, helpful and not to mention ATTENTIVE. They ensure that the pool is clean 24/7 and that our kids are always smiling. Once it's adult swim they either are playing with our kids or ensuring that the pool remains clean. Hope to have them back next year. BEST SUMMER EVER!"
"United Pools manages our neighborhood pool. We have had a fantastic experience with one of the lifeguards who is consistently staffed at our pool. Gerald is a delight! He is polite, respectful, thoughtful, professional, friendly, helpful, kind, and many other positive qualities! The best thing about Gerald is how he interacts with our children - he knows their names, plays with them and entertains them...all while protecting them and gaining their respect for his authority as the lifeguard at the pool. We are thrilled to have Gerald as our lifeguard. I wish you could hear my kids talk about how much they love Gerald! Edited: I am so disappointed to have to edit my review of United Pools, but I had a very disturbing interaction with a lifeguard named Connor today which I cannot look past. Connor is filling in for our regular lifeguard, Gerald (who is still as awesome as when I made my original post - this is not about him). First of all, Connor sat in a low chair on the side of the pool, not the actual lifeguard chair, because he had another boy sitting in a chair beside him. I was surprised that we would have two lifeguards on duty sitting right next to each other. I caught Connor on his phone several times, and finally approached him about it. He did not apologize and made several attempts to defend his behavior. If there had not been at least 20 children in the pool, I may have listened. I then asked the boy sitting beside him if he was also a lifeguard. It turns out he was Connor's friend, just there to "keep him company". I explained that he was serving as a distraction because Connor kept turning his head to talk with him, and asked him to leave and come back to visit with Connor on a break. He proceeded to move to sit on a lounge chair behind Connor, and Connor turned around several times to converse with him, again taking his eyes off the pool. I had to approach Connor for a second time to ask him to pay attention to the pool and asked his friend to leave. Both boys argued with me that he did not have to leave; Connor told me I couldn't tell him what to do, and his friend told me he "wasn't leaving." I politely explained that if neither of them is a resident of the neighborhood, he was not allowed to be at the pool. He walked slowly out of the pool area while I followed him to make sure he actually left this time. I am appalled at Connor's lack of regard for safety, disrespectful tone and unprofessional behavior. After his friend left, I continued to catch him on his "hidden" phone several times, watched him fail to notice a small child having trouble swimming in the pool, observed him watch children running around/pushing/dunking without so much as blowing a whistle. I called United Pools and asked them to come either speak to him about his behavior or remove him from his position at our pool today, and not only did they not honor my request, but I did not receive a phone call back to let me know if/how they had handled the situation with him."
