"Just like one of the last reviewers ( Curt Dusrerhoff) I had been with this company for awhile. They had always used our credit card as autopay to pay in full for our policies. We renewed our auto for 6 months, received insurance cards and forgot about it. About a month later we go online one weekend while working on our budget and see that our auto policy was canceled. What?!Whole family, including a teen driver, has been driving around unknowingly without auto insurance for about 3 weeks. Thank goodness nothing happened because we were so vulnerable. The incompetence of the Hathaway agency and unresponsiveness of Tyler was unbelievable. I found them to be completely unethical and very unprofessional, as they did nothing to correct their mistake. I had to pay fines for letting three vehicles lapse on insurance to the state, and pay a premium to another company because it showed that we had not paid part of our insurance, though it was no fault of our own. Tyler never had the decency to return my phone calls and dealing with Eric was a complete waste of time."

"Been doing business with them since 2018. Had my home and 7 vehicles insured through their agency. Tried to get a quote on a new policy, couldn't even get a call back. They let coverage lapse on several vehicles while I was out of town without so much as a call or notice in the mail to check in. Attempted multiple times to reach out to Tyler directly but he refused to call back. I sent a VERY frustrated email over to the office requesting some kind of call back and explanation. NOTHING. Taking all of my business elsewehere. I was spending a decent bit of money with this agency and their service is basically non existent since Brian Bass left."

"Great customer service and team at the agency! Farmers changed billing systems and everything has been a mess ever since. Billed twice in a month, not billed one month, the amounts billed make no sense. I cancel service and got 26 billing notices post cancellation. Refund amounts don’t match what I was told my refund should be even though I paid in fund for the year. Farmers need to fix this mess or this agency should change the company they represent."

"I left USAA after 35 years because a friend recommended this agency. The prices were indeed cheaper but in this case, you get what you pay for. Tyler incorrectly set up my billing from the beginning and it took two months to sort it out. Communication was almost non-existent. I didn't have to use my policies so I can't comment on Farmer's. In November I received a 30% increase on all four policies, I emailed Tyler and asked for him to call me regarding my concerns. It's 1-26-23 and I've yet to hear from him. I have moved my business back to USAA. If I'm going to pay a premium, then I'm going to get great service!"

These agents really care about you as a customer and treat you as if you are a part of an extended family. They are very attentive to your needs; they respond to your questions and concerns immediately and are knowledgeable about the business. Even during this COVID-19 pandemic, they have never dropped the ball. I have personally been working with Linda Byrd (Customer Service and Sales Representative) the last few weeks on several things, and Linda is the TRUE DEFINITION OF AWESOME! Again, Farmers Insurance – The Hathaway Agency is the best provider I have had in a long time. Kudos to the entire Team!"
