"Glad to found a pharmacy where the people truly care and always look to help save me some money on what I need."
"Love this drugstore. Very nice Pharmacy. Lots of live plants to choose from. Nice cards and gifts."
"Good customer service. Good location within a neighborhood, walking distance to and from lakebottom park. The cashier is always nice and friendly. The cashier also assist with questions I may have about the live plants they sale. Plants which are indoor plants and are so beautiful. I have purchased many from Durham pharmacy and will be back next week to buy a few more."
"This family owned pharmacy has an ambience all its own. The staff provides Fast and Friendly service to All its Valued customers at reasonable prices. The quaint little shop also offers a variety of non-apothecary items too: Beautiful house and garden plants, greeting cards for a variety of occasions and interesting bric-a-brac of various kinds. Highly Recommended!! But Unfortunately this pharmacy has Ridiculous Hours!! The place opens at 9 A.M. and closes at 6 P.M., Monday through Friday!! Almost Absurd!! Working people are Hard-Pressed to patronize the place during these Inconvenient Hours because they Have To Work!! And the place is Closed on Weekends!! Saturdays and Sundays!! These Absurd Hours are Immensely Inconvenient to all but retirees who don't have to adhere to a Strict Work Schedule!! But, again...Not Worker Friendly!! A nice enough pharmacy, to be sure. But the Operating Hours leave Much To Be Desired!! Highly Unfair to people who must Work for a living!! Not Recommended for Working People!!!!"
"I was referred to this pharmacy by one of my coworkers because the healthcare provider our employer uses lists this pharmacy as “in network” offering a discount. I normally use Publix for my prescriptions, but was looking to save money by going to Durham Pharmacy. My child has ADHD, and the stimulant prescribed to her is very expensive, so saving any money helps. On Wednesday 8-6-14, I handed the prescription to a dark haired woman at the pharmacy counter and said “I’ve never filled a prescription here before”, she stared at the prescription, and replied “I don’t think we have any of this in stock, but I’ll look to make sure” she walked around the shelf, and then immediately returned and said “we don’t have any in stock” while handing me back the prescription. Being confused, I said “will you have any in stock soon?” she replied “I don’t know, I can ask the pharmacist”… I was already upset because of her dismissive behavior, and how there was absolutely no concern to help a potential future customer. After waiting a few minutes, whom I believe was the pharmacist, claimed they were out of the prescription as well, and they didn’t carry “that version”. Still confused, I asked “why can’t you order the medicine, my daughter has enough to last for the rest of the week, and I can wait”, the pharmacist replied “we can only order so much of this type of medication per month, and we’ve already reached our limit”. Now please keep in mind, they never asked for my health insurance card, they never asked my name, I still don’t know the names of either of the two women I spoke with, because they never introduced themselves. Later that day, at Publix, I asked the pharmacist if there was any such “limit” for this type of medication… She replied “no, I’ve never heard of that”. I believe Durham Pharmacy wants to accelerate the downward spiral they are already headed on by the dismissive behavior and horrible customer service I’ve witnessed. Thank you Google for letting me share this story forever!"
