Lotus Recovery Centers - Comfort

"Do NOT expect a call back from Carolyn/Caroline Daniels, let alone anyone else, for that matter, it seems! She was the individual I was told I needed to contact in the beginning because she was the case worker for my friend. I was told that my friend needed to approve me contacting them. Which was without a doubt something they would do (otherwise they wouldn't have called me to begin with) so this is why I'm concerned. Of course, places like this have to go through procedures to protect the people that come into the facility. These types of places can not have people with drug charges, convicted murderers etc... talking to people who are trying to better themselves. I've called NUMEROUS times, and it just goes to automatic voicemail on her end. When I left a voicemail, I had never received a call back! When I call that main number, it gives me numerous options. The options seem like infinity and beyond.... The options just take you to more "options." Like no, I want to speak with someone, please! Ugh. It becomes VERY concerning when you've made SEVERAL attempts to call about an individual who called you with no problem when they arrived at the facility to better themselves. Once you reached out and made the attempt to call them, your calls weren't returned, and suddenly, contact became different. When you know that isn't like your friend, that's when concerns arise! I've called several times, I get transferred, told to call other numbers, and I NEVER seem to get any answers. I'm so worried about my friend. I have no idea what is going on. I have no "history" of drug abuse, alcohol abuse, or anything along those lines that would stop me from being able to have any type of contact with my friend. There is absolutely NO reason for ANY of this. I believe that this facility should do better than this!!!!!!!! This is peoples families/friends that you people have in here. You need to take this type of stuff seriously. I am in a completely different state. Otherwise, I would just drive there and lay eyes on my friend that I'm so worried about! Do better."

"Let me tell y'all Lotus Recovery Centers saved my life. I was so friggin hateful to everyone for the first couple of weeks here and they kept trying with me until finally had a change of mind. I'm glad they didn't give up on especially when I had already gave up on myself. The staff here is nothing short of AMAZING!! If you are ready to take that step to get your life back I 1000% recommend Lotus! I ended up extending past the 28 days and ended up staying for like 55ish and typically like twice a week they have fun projects to do they even had a little carnival thing while I was there. They do allow smoking also. Hopefully I never have to get treatment again but if I do I know I'll be going back to Lotus♥️"

"If you value your recovery in ANY way, shape, or form.... DO NOT GO HERE!! I have been to numerous recovery centers, and this one BY FAR takes the cake as far as being the absolute WORST is concerned. Let me ask you something.... If you want help with something, wouldn't you want your teacher to be KNOWLEDGEABLE and EXPERIENCED in the subject? Riiiiiiight.... They have ONE staff member, JUST ONE, who is in recovery. This includes the director and owner as well. But oh, wait, THEY BOTH JUST QUIT THE PLACE.... however, I have no doubt in my mind as to why. If you want structure, DON'T GO HERE. If you want to feel valued and respected, DON'T GO HERE. If you want to learn helpful coping skills and tools to aid you in your recovery, DON'T GO HERE. This place is literally the Super 8 motel for addicts. I just discharged 3 and a half weeks ago, and the "aftercare" is a JOKE. For one, they absolutely refuse to go out of their way to ensure that you have any type of outside appointments set up for continuing care.... GOD FORBID they have to put in extra work. These people win a gold medal in LAZINESS. Second, I have been fighting tooth and nail SINCE I'VE BEEN HOME, to get them to send over any type of records to my psychiatrist so he can refill my medications. They're always "WORKING ON IT"... Which I've come to realize means they're WORKING ON TWIDDLING THEIR THUMBS. If I could relate an emoji to this place..... It would be a hysterical cow.... For the simple fact that the place is a JOKE, but hey, they'll surely fatten ya up!! Props to the kitchen, they're the only valuable staff employed at this place!!"

"For me Lotus was the best recovery program I've ever been to!! In the last 5 years I've been in and out of 8 or 9 rehabs in WV and PA. This was The first program I felt Actually helped me so I stayed and grautated just yesterday!! They provide real life coping skills with the group's they have daily and for me, honestly I have nothing bad to say about that place. The staff treated me like family and I got along with everyone. Thank you to everyone who works there. I love you all. If I ever need to come back to rehab this will be the place I come to."

"I would leave more 5 stars because the time there was wonderful until the last day. If I'd known that we could or should look for a sober home I would've. Lotus told me my insurance wouldn't pay anymore and since I'd no sober home to go to I was sent to Sojourns homeless shelter for 3 days until Sojourn could cover my bus fare home to a different state These people are great as long as money plays a role, I see."
