"My family and I recently miraculously found Shawn and Dr. Erin at Heartstrings during the difficult time of saying goodbye to our beloved furbaby Buddy. Shawn and Dr. Erin could not have been more compassionate and I highly recommend these angels on earth. I reached out to Shawn since I was apprehensive that Buddy’s regular vet would be available when Buddy’s time came, and we kept in touch in the weeks that followed. He was super responsive and was so accommodating with us and our shifting situation. Shawn and Dr. Erin were just what we needed during the difficult time of saying goodbye to our boy. Their thoughtfulness was exceptional – they went above and beyond to give us a peaceful sendoff for our sweet boy Buddy. They delivered the level of quality we have come to expect with our boy– the service they gave us was priceless. His send off was very well done and was a blessing to our family. It was so peaceful and exactly what we feel Buddy deserved. Shawn and Dr. Erin are angels on earth who provided miracles we didn’t even know were possible. Although it was incredibly painful to say goodbye, we can’t imagine a better end of life transition for our family member, and will be forever indebted to Shawn and Dr. Erin for the sense of peace they brought to us during this difficult time."

They were so warm and so personable, and they treated our poor, sweet boy like he was all that mattered. They reached out to us with sympathy and understanding, and our dog's remains were delivered in a beautiful personalized box. Such a nice touch. "Dr. Erin and Dr. Kelsey arrived exactly at our appointment time. They greeted me and my family with gentle smiles. You could feel a calm come over the room that was very tense before their arrival. Saying goodbye to your pet is one of the hardest things we go through. I let them know that I wanted to do an art project for my family with their help. The truly beautiful part about this experience is Dr. Erin and Dr. Kelsey did things on our time. They hung around while we shared silly stories about Cooper and the way he ran the household before he got sick. I was able to complete my art project with their assistance which brought a bit of extra comfort. They were both gentle and compassionate. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Highly recommend Heartstrings when considering next steps for end of life and after care for the fur babies."

Although this was one of the saddest days for our family the doctor came in with so much empathy and compassion I felt she had known us and Sadie for years.
