Reviews of Publix Pharmacy at Jonquil Plaza
"This is a racist Publix. And honestly, my first incident I thought it was a coincidence and I’ve already made it formal complaint, but I would like to let other people know before shopping here. Especially if you’re a person of color. I had a gift card from Publix that I got before the holidays. When I went to use it a few days ago, it would not swipe. The cashier that day was able to enter it in to the system in order for me to use it, and I was advised to have the next cashier, do the same. By the way, this cashier was a person of color like me. Today, I went into the same Publix and the cashier would not listen to me when I told her that it needs to be entered in. Instead, she gave me a receipt to go to the customer service lady who also did not follow the instructions to enter it in. I left the store and the groceries I attempted to by in it. I went over to the Publix in Marietta off of Powers Ferry Rd. where the cashier, a person of color also, was able to manually enter it in with no problem at all. I feel like I was given a hard time for nothing and again this is not the first time this has happened. Remind me a lot of medical racism. You are trying to tell someone something, and they are not listening. It’s very poor customer service on top of that. So I would recommend if you are a person of color whatever you do not shop at the Jonquil Publix."
"This is the worst pharmacy. Every time I go here there is a problem. The employees are so rude. I’ve waited over an hour past the time they said my medicine would be ready at least 6 times. Just standing in front of the counter and they don’t even try to get it ready any sooner or closer to the time THEY said it would be ready. They are so disorganized and unprofessional. TERRIBLE. I absolutely hate going to this pharmacy."
"Exceptional speed in getting the medication ready and working round the clock to help customers. I won't hesitate to ask for OTC medication suggestions and even they are very busy they come out to help me find the right medication."
"I always have to wait at this particularly pharmacy. On several occasions, prescriptions have not been ready or the refill has not accurately gone through and I have been asked to return at a later time. However, every time I am there, it seems I have to wait 10-20 minutes behind another car who does not have to return but instead holds up the whole line. I am only giving 2 stars because when I do finally get to the window, the employees are friendly."
"I tried to use the drive through tonight to pick up medicine for my 5 mo old with my 3 year old in tow. There was one car ahead of me when I got there and 20 minutes later there was still the one car ahead of me. The woman in the car said that the pharmacist told her it would just be a couple of minutes and never came back. I ended up going inside and having to wait another 5 minutes with my toddler. If the woman outside had a special order that was going to take a long time to fill, not sure why they didn’t have her pull to the side so they could fill other orders. They need to figure out a better system for drive through. Will never be using Publix pharmacy again."
