"never answer phone. finally when you do get someone rude, or put you on hold"
"Lady just told me on the phone that she couldn't help me with contacts for a week till I get paid and don't have glasses and they can't help because I haven't done it on my part though my glasses were broken working. And refused to give me an answer when I asked what happened to the oath that they took in school to do no harm. I think that's the rudest I've been spoken to from any place doing eye exams. So if that's the kind of service you want hit them up right away"
"Dr. Kelly Slater is by far the best eye doctor. I have worn glasses since I was two years old. I've always been told because of my nearsightedness and my astigmatism. My glasses always have to be made with expensive polycarbonate lenses because of how thick the prescription is. Dr. Slater took the time to tell me I could get contacts and even let me think it over. Today I went back to Dr. Slater for my contacts fitting. The optician helped me get used to putting them in, and she was very patient. Today was the first time ever, IN MY 29 YEARS OF LIFE, that I saw my own face without glasses on them. Wearing glasses for 27 years, and then having the option to live without them is epic to me. Dr. Slater changed my life. The only way to explain it for others to understand is like this: You live your entire life walking on a cane. You can't get anywhere or function in society or life without this cane. Then one day, you learn you don't need the cane. You can get something invisible so the world doesn't see you differently. I did order glasses from there as well, and they were amazing. I don't have insurance, and I have called all over the tristate for pricing. This vision center is the most affordable. The glasses only took a week to come in for my very strong prescription, and they carry a 1 year warranty for the frames and 3 months on the lenses. Oh, and Dr. Slater isn't in on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Whoever has said they were rude in the reviews two years ago, I can say the staff now is the exact opposite. The staff and doctor are amazing, kind, caring, and patient. Don't let those reviews in the past keep you from trying them now. You can walk in when the doctor is there, but it is better to schedule an appointment. If you have questions ask them. They didn't rush me, either visit. And they were very busy then, too. They are worth every penny."
"I broke my glasses and I called them. They told me that my glasses were under warranty. I went next day and they gave me a new pair of glasses. Excellent services and the doctor is very nice. I love coming here for my glasses."
