"Went to Family Dollar to do some couponing. Was told by cashier that their store will only take the coupon if the packaging matches the picture no matter what the description says. I had a $3 off Tide Pods 9 count or higher. Try to purchase Tide Pods 16-count. The cashier told me that her manager said she could not take that coupon because the picture shows a bucket of pods. So I went home pulled up Family Dollars information on coupons in the third point on the coupons policy it states that they will go by the written description and not the picture. Please note: Coupons can be redeemed only for items that are described in writing on the coupon. The wording/verbiage on the coupon dictates which items are to be included in the offer, not the image of what is shown on the coupon."
