"Wouldn't see my mother when she was clearly sick because they closed soon."
"My 3 yr old busted his chin, and there was definitely a whole, being a mother I wanted to have it looked at. So I showed up at urgent care and the girl at the desks first question was did you call ahead? No I didn’t. I didn’t realize that you had to call to make a reservation for a child to be looked at. Her next question was what are you expecting us to do? Well since your in health care I’d like to have him looked at and he may possibly need his chin glued or be stitched and her response was, well we don’t do that here. Really? I’d imagine that this would be a perfect place for my child to be seen since I’m sure the ER has much bigger problems to deal with. So I basically said that I’d leave and take him to the ER. So I did and they were baffled at the treatment I’d received at a medical clinic. They told me that they would probably never use this them personally. Really hits home when health care workers don’t have empathy for your family."
