"Sitting in the parking lot after driving 50 minutes to have a very important test ran on my son. It is the 4th of January and LINDA the MANAGER refused out service although we have had pre authorization for his appointment because his new medical card hasn’t came in the mail yet since it’s right after a holiday. They were extremely rude!!!! Don’t rely on this place to care for their patients because they don’t care AT ALL! Now to find another allergist for my child. If I could give it a zero I would!!"
"The atmosphere is pleasant and friendly. They take the time to ask questions and answer questions. If allergy testing is needed, they can take care if that too."
"So you're just going to close the office on the same day as the appointment is set up? What goes through yalls brain?"
"My daughter NEEDS a Xolair shot to keep chronic hives away. Her hives is associated with anaphylaxis, which is very scary! While away at college she gets her shot once per month with no issues. While at home for the summer, we THOUGHT we could rely on Dr. Clark (my daughter always saw Thrush before he retired and he was WONDERFUL... the type that gave us his cell number for emergencies). We found out quickly that Dr. Clark IS NOT on the same caliber as Dr. Thrush. Dr. Clark's office gave me the run around about the Xolair shot. They told me it would take 3-4 WEEKS for a prior authorization to get the shot. I called the insurance office AND the specialty pharmacy and confirmed that if that WERE true it would only be because of the the doctor's office not doing what THEY needed to do because prior authorizations normally take 1-3 days. I found this to be true. Rather than deal with Clark's office, who clearly had no interest in helping my child, I called our regular general practitioner. He ordered the Xolair, did what he needed to do to get the prior authorization, and had the shot shipped. Now, there were a few phone calls here and there to get things squared away with co-pay and shipping, but obviously it was NOT the issue that Clark's office claimed it would be. AFTER my daughter already had things completely taken care of, Dr. Clark's office called to tell me "since she is only getting it 2-3 times here, we just don't think it is worth it, so we just can't help you." Thank God for our general practitioner who actually CARED to help my daughter so she would not have hives and possibly anaphylaxis all summer."
"I owe my life to Dr Clark. He diagnosed my Alpha1 Antitrypsin Deficiency back in 2003 after seven years of misdiagnosed “asthma”. Dr Clark and the staff are caring and compassionate and take all the time needed to explain your course of treatment. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this doctor and his staff!"
