"I had left my denture there the previous week for repair because it is a 45 minute drive one way. Granted, I was informed that the technician was ill and was about to go to the hospital. A week later, I called to check on status of denture. I was told it was ready. (Disappointed that no one called to make me aware.) When I arrived, I waited a few minutes and was presented my denture. When I got to my car, I took it out of the bag and discovered some rough residue on the roof. I returned and informed the receptionist who went and got a technician. I was told I could come back later to pick it up. I immediately reminded them that I drove 45 minutes to get here and inquired if they were asking me to go home (45 minutes), return and go back home. That's 3 hours of driving for a denture they have had a week and not bothering to even contact me. I asked for an exception if I waited. I was told they would have to work me in. I waited about 15-20 minutes for my denture. The really rough part was gone, but there were 2 other (could still see crack in denture and was told it is a repair and only a thin layer is placed on the denture and smoothed out) concerns. I was told they would not be able to correct my other concerns now. Happy to have my denture, I left. There is still a rough spot on the external side of 2 of the teeth on the right side of denture (probably silicone or acrylic...I don't know). It only bothers me when I run my tongue around them. I do know it wasn't there when I left it. The people at the facility are friendly and appear to be somewhat accommodating. The hygienist is genuinely concerned and expresses it as she patiently addresses your concerns with reassuring and comforting words. I will continue to visit this facility for now."
