"My aunt is a resident here. At first it was great. So much better than her previous experience in huntington. She is totally aware and with it and can call and text. That being said since the changed owners the beginning of the year, it’s terrible. The food is disgusting. She’s lost so much weight. They used to call and tell me these things. Never hear from them now. We constantly have to bring food or have it delivered. This week the bathroom was dirty and the trash running over. I had to tell the social worker when she had already turned 65 to sign her up on Medicare even !"
"YOU SHOULD NOT BE ADVERTISING THROUGH ONLINE SITE THAT YOU ACCEPT MEDICAID!!!!! BEEN TRYING FOR TWO MONTHS TO GET MY FAMILY MEMBER PLACED THERE WITH HELP FROM A SOCIAL WORKER AND UPON CONVERSING ABOUT WHETHER THEY CAN GO THERE , WHEN FINDING OUT IT WOULD BE MEDICAID FOR PAYMENT, THEN THERE KEEPS GETTING A BLOCK PUT UP. IF WE COULD AFFORD TO PRIVATE PAY $400/DAY, THEY WOULD GET CAREGIVING AT HOME!!!!! I HAD ANOTHER FAMILY MEMBER THERE AT ONE TIME AND THOUGHT YOU HAD A GOOD REPUTABLE FACILTY FOR NURSING CARE. BUT DIDN'T KNOW UNTIL NOW THAT YOU PATHETICALLY BLOCK AND NOT ACCEPT MEDICAID PATIENTS!!!!!"
"I’m sure no place is perfect, none of us are either! But this place strives for excellence. I am overwhelmed by the care (medical, social, nutritional, etc) that my mom receives here."
"I feel my mother after she was unable to care for herself was neglected. Was not adequately helped with feeding, providing drinks of water, plus hygiene; such as nails, food residue on face plus hairline, and feet. She developed a bedsore and I was told very minor but when hospitalized it was diagnosed as a Stage 2. My mother died and having trouble receiving money that was in her account after almost three months."
