Huntington Mall

"Good stores, clean facilities, but I wish there were more stores and variety."

"In a time when numerous malls are closing, the Huntington Mall is thriving. The mall was well lit and clean, stores were busy and the food court had some good eats."

"I wanted to post about a terrible experience I had at Shipwreck Collection at the Huntington mall. While shopping in the store with my daughter, my wedding band fell off of my finger. We were both crawling around on the floor looking for the ring and looking through some of the folded shirts. I was not sure if the ring fell on the ground or flung in the air while I was browsing the folded shirts. The staff continued to watch me and my daughter for 30 minutes without helping what so ever. When one of the staff members finally approached me, I told her that I had lost my ring and could not find it. She went and found the owner of the store. When the owner came out from the back of the store, the first thing she said to me was “you are destroying our property.” I had simply moved shirts around looking for my ring. She stated that she would “call her cousin who is a police officer on me and have me arrested.” She also stated that I was “yelling at my daughter” which was not true as my daughter was looking at her in complete confusion. The only thing she did was refold the already folded shirts and called security to have me leave. My $2,000 ring is still sitting somewhere in that store, and I am sure if it is found that it will be taken and not returned to me. It was the most unprofessional, terrible experience that I have ever received from anyone. I was in complete shock that someone would treat another person like that for no reason what so ever. She called me a liar and said that she would laugh at me when I find the ring somewhere else. (Even though I told her that I felt the ring slip off of my finger right where I was standing) I hope that she has the kind of day that she truly deserves, and enjoys my $2,000 ring that she refused to let me search for. I will NEVER go back to that store and they will NEVER receive another dollar from me."

"This mall is a lot better than the Charleston Town Center mall, and it seems to get better every time I've been. Most stores are occupied, there are a lot of different shops and major stores as well. If you have kids there are several things to keep them occupied. The new Reptile House was the reason we visited this time and it was very cool, lots of interesting animals and a neat thing to be inside of a mall."

"During my stay in Huntington, I've visited this mall a couple of times. It gets crowded during the weekends, like any mall. It's a fun space to hang out with your loved ones to relax, shop, dine, and watch a movie. One of the things I appreciate about this mall is the fact that there are many benches to sit. During Christmas and other festive seasons, the whole place is filled with decorations and has a great vibe to it. The mall is maintained well, and the staff working here are helpful. They are approachable and always happy to help you with something. Highly recommended!"
