"I’m 100% disabled veteran and had 4 visits. I left afraid and alone. The last 2 min of my 4th visit the doctor said she didn’t need to see me anymore and didn’t even make sure I had another therapist in line to start seeing me. I finally started trusting her and opening up on my 4th visit and abruptly she told me she was done seeing me and told me good luck. I have no other mental health professional in my life right now and for the 1st time in 5 years I’m left with no treatment. PTSD isn’t something that goes away with time and I know from life experiences I have to have that mental health Rick in my life. I’m still confused on what during my last visit and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone truly needing treatment."
"s ago I am a disabled veteran who was sent to Dr.Amy Strange following a suicide attempt for a C&P evaluation for my disability benefits? When my rating came back my representative told me he had never seen anyone in my condition not recieve a 100% rating and that Dr. Strange didn't include my suicide attempt at all in her evaluation and no details of any of the things that I had been through. He said it was ”as if she had never talked to me at all”. When I called her to see why she hadn’t included the details of my suicide attempt in her report she told me she couldn’t talk about the report and abruptly hung up on me. I would encourage any veteran who is struggling with mental health problems and seeking disability for service connected disability in WV to not see this provider for your C&P exam. Maybe C&P exams should be exclusively given by VA employed providers. These things are difficult enough and the process of applying is a lot to go through without having to worry about a provider getting reimbursed hundreds of dollars to rush through your exam carelessly and robbing you of the benefits you’re entitled to. Hope this never happens to anyone else."
