"This particular Aspen location has the worst, most unprofessional front desk staff I have ever experienced in a dentist’s office. I called to request to make an appointment for a root canal that I had been previously quoted for. I hesitated to make my appointment because I was given 2 different costs of service a few weeks apart from each other. When I asked for an explanation of the change in cost, no one could give me an answer. Considering that the endodontist requires payment up front, I wanted to be informed of what I would be paying for. I emailed the office manager for assistance with the issue and still haven’t gotten a response to this day. Monday of this week, I called to request a referral to take to another dentist. I was told that I could pick it up the next morning around 10 am because a signature was needed. I called the next morning before going, the referral had not been completed and I was told to come after 11:30. I get to the office at 12 pm and let the front desk staff know why I was there. They all looked around confused and say to each other, “y’all know anything about a referral?” I waited for them to resolve the issue and one of the young ladies comes back to the front and says “the doctor needs 24 hours to sign” when I had already waited a full day after calling. I proceeded to wait and for nearly 30 minutes I sat there. I finally returned to the front desk to follow up on my request. I was then asked “oh they didn’t give the referral to you? I thought they did”. The referral was still not completed. Because I was on my lunch break, I had to leave and come back after work. The doctor never even signed off on the referral. Here I am today attempting to call to request my x-rays for my appointment and the phone was picked up and I was immediately hung up on before I could even say anything. The unprofessionalism and disorganization of this staff really ruins the quality of service for its patients."
"Starting at the Stockbridge office, customer service slacked and never since my initial visit in December was I ever able to get any one to answer the phone to schedule a follow up however Dr. Oh’s service was great which is why I wanted to become his patient. After several failed attempts at Stockbridge, I scheduled an appointment at the McDonough location for today at 7:30 am. All begin well until I was told I could get an extraction today once I paid my portion not covers by insurance; no problem. I noticed that after I was told my X-rays would be retrieved from the other office so no exam was necessary. Dr. Malik’s assistant advised me I was beginning charged for an exam which i disputed because my insurance covers my exams. The assistance changed the coded to remove the exam fee. I paid for extraction services and was returned to the exam room. Within 10 mins, Dr. Malik’s assistant returned to the room explaining the I could not receive the service which just paid because the dentist was busy doing two fillings. I was scheduled to return a week later to get my extraction done by Dr. Oh. I asked would be prescribed pain and antibiotics and told she’d call them in to the pharmacy. At 1 pm I called for update on my rx and told she’s get to it later. It’s now 4:13 pm and I haven’t heard a word from this staff. Appears to me that Aspen Dental just isn’t meant for me. Update: I was hung on when i I called for the status of my meds so I called back only to get the voicemail so I decided to email at 4:30 my opinion about the services in the polite manner and request to speaking with the appropriate chain on command. At 4:47 my phone rang and it was Aspen advising me my meds were called in. Moral of my story; I not only work in healthcare but as a paying customer, good service shouldn’t have to be chased down. Aspen has to do better!"
"Great visit with staff, hygienist, and dentist. I learned more today about my teeth than I have in the last 10 years from previous dentist. The clinic was clean, staff very attentive and knowledgeable. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain my dental needs. Marilyn"
"I got my teeth deep cleaned here and they did an excellent job! My teeth have never felt this clean before! Andrea the office manager was extremely helpful and kind, she answered all of my questions and concerns and was more than happy to work around my schedule for my next appointment. This will most definitely be my new dentist from now on!"
