Reviews of Sage Dental of North Druid Hills
"I won't be going back. I scheduled an appointment for a cleaning which is covered by my insurance, however they didn't do anything but run me a list of these and violated my HIPPA rights by discussing my diagnosis and procedures in-front of everyone in the lobby and the examination rooms are open to all patients so everyone knows whats going on with you. I kinda want the $ back I spent only for them to do nothing. The aesthetics of Sage is nice however, their way is not my way. Honesty, been thinking about contacting a lawyer because how is that right where the entire lobby gets to be a part of your diagnosis and how much you owe???"
"Dr. Harris was very nice. Unfortunately, he had nor given me antibiotics script. I went this past week and my implant screw could not be done. I am upset with the cost of the price to remove it. $1,466.00 seems like lot of money. The surgeons assistant had to look up the icd numbers. My insurance will not pay for it. I'm having it done on February 1st."
"My experience is a juxtaposition between good technical practice and emotional dissatisfaction. Almost a year and a half, I entrusted them with my dental care. Upon my initial visit, I was advised that a deep cleaning procedure was necessary if they are to treat me -- a decision I consented to at the time as I just moved to the area and had been looking for a new dental practice I could transfer to. I was told that my insurance covers dental cleaning procedures twice a year due to my "dental disease". That was the first time I heard from a dental practice that I had such disease and I had been very diligent with my bi-yearly cleaning and personal oral hygiene; I took their assessment with a grain of salt. Naively, I believed these arrangements were finite. However, this decision came with "required" semi-yearly cleaning if I am to continue to be treated plus some additional charges for other services that my insurance won't cover. I also found out from two other patients that go there that they were told the exact same story, and how they also thought that was a bit sketchy. Though the prospect of semi-yearly visits didn't dissuade me, the notion of perpetually having to be bound to this requirement in order to continue to be accepted as their patient, in addition to what I heard directly from other patients plus being always pressured to have “additional procedures” has left me a bit disillusioned with this office/practice. I will continue to go until I find a place I feel to be less 'insisting' for a lack of a better word of what they deem as "required" to keep me as their patient, or until my insurance plan stops covering for their required procedures."
"Excellent service for this first time visit from start to finish. All personnel were friendly, knowledgeable and super nice. Enjoyed my consultation even though I got some bad news. Made the experience 1st class."
"I am a lady of a certain age. This means I have over 60 years of experience dealing with different dentists. I am not happy to go to the dentist even for a cleaning. We moved to Georgia last year and after fighting with our California insurer for over a year we finally found Dr. Chad Harris. All of my research on him (education, revenues, experience, etc) was from good to excellent. He did two major procedures on me. He was quick and very gentle. I had no pain and very little swelling. I was waiting for the pain to hit me before I took any medication. To my surprise it was bedtime and I felt fine. I will return again & again ~"
