Reviews of Valley Health - Pt. Pleasant Pediatrics
"Did not know my children's names, did not make an effort to learn them. Were not informed about when to schedule their appointments; told me this was her 3 year check up when she turns 4 in 4 days, and that we would come back next YEAR for her 4 year check up. Told me I did not have to sign anything to get their medical records, when we did. The appointment took an hour and a half, and they didn't get any of their vaccines or even receive the right care. The doctor had 2 students, and even though my son is divergent and was having an issue with the number of people in the room, they never asked those students to leave. Every person at this office is stupid and uninformed, and I would never trust them to administer medicine to my children."
"I am a first time mom and I took my nb baby here and he was screaming alot and I thought it was acid reflux, I guess it was a nurse there because it wasn't his actual dr but that nurse dismissed me when I tried explaining to her what was going on with my baby and she said hes not loosing weight so his fine. A month later I go back up to NC and a Dr there confirmed he had acid reflux and his on medicine and his acid reflux is under control. The people who work here need to listen to moms and not write them off because they don't wanna deal with problems. Thank you so much for just letting my baby scream in pain from reflux for weeks, really appreciate it."
"The staff at Valley Health are exceptional! They are all very knowledgeable and genuinely care about their patients. The facility is always clean and there is minimal to no wait times! The staff adheres to all safety precautions and PPE, even before the pandemic."
"Dr. Crockett is wonderful. She seems very knowledgeable and is always willing to answer all my questions. The office also tries to work with you if you need to get your child in quickly to address an issue."
"I was just reminded that I never did leave a review for Dr. Wiltz. I took my daughter to see him about a year ago. He was incredibly rude and a complete jerk. My daughter is the most laid back teenage girl you'll ever meet. She is sunshine and rainbows, straight As, and no boys. She had an asthma attack/breathing episode/something so bad that she had to be transported by ambulance to the ER. I've never been in an ambulance and neither have any of my other 3 children. We don't overreact. We went to Dr. Wiltz as a follow up to the ER visit and he refused to refer her to a specialist or order any testing. Just gave us a long speech about how teenage girls get upset easily and it was just a panic attack. I shook my head as he was saying that. I explained that she is not a "typical teen girl," and he just kept saying it. He then told me that if I was going to shake my head while he was talking, "we were done there." I got up and as we were walking out he screamed, "bye!" The receptionist just kept apologizing and when I said something like, "is always like that?" She gave me a "look" that said yes. I believe Dr. Wiltz has some serious mental problem, a drug problem, or a huge ego that he can't see past. I cannot imagine why he would choose to be a doctor when he obviously doesn't care about people, let alone children, and he can't control his emotions. I'm 37 years old and I have 4 children ranging from 18-2 years old and I've never been treated so horribly by a "medical professional" in my life."
