Dental Smiles of Stockbridge

"I have been coming to this practice for two years. The consultation to fill in my gaps have always been my concern. The options were to choose between implants or a bridge. It was never communicated that a bridge would not cover the gaps and I would have to get an implant in addition to the bridge. Now two years later I’m coming in to get a bridge only to pay approximately $5000 and still have a missing tooth at the front. The dentist just basically sat there and speaking in medical terms just to tell you a “sorry not sorry” speech. And you’re stuck paying for unfinished work. There was also an incident with Anthem BCBD being out of network for this year. They just called one day and just basically said “we are out of network and your insurance won’t cover” No recommendations or anything. I really wanted my gaps filled in now I still have to find another practice to start my treatment plan completely over. Out of the thousands of dollars made, you would think there could be some sort of solution that doesn’t involve me in spending thousands more. I feel horrible, misguided, and scammed out of my hard earned money. I will come back to have my bridge installed and I will no longer do business with Dental Smiles. And to think I supported because I support my own people. Never again. Hard working people do not have extra funds to just waste on practices to stretch out your treatment plan for their benefit. Horrible communication on Dental Smiles and I am going to tell everyone I know now to do service with them."

"I wouldn't recommend my pet dog to come here. I am still waiting on Amanda to return my call. After, a week I gave her a call and was told she will return my call. Week two still haven't heard from Amanda. Prior to all of this, Dental Smile had a power outage in September, once I got checked in, I was told about the power outage and that someone will call me to reschedule me. no one ever called. LOL."

"I’ve been coming to DSS for years and always have great visits. Everyone in the office is so professional and pleasant. I give kudos to Lisa because she’s very knowledgeable and thorough with her cleanings. She always goes above and beyond and ensures that she addresses any questions you may have. Dr. Vaughn is always amazing. She had a good rapport with all of her patients. I always recommend Dr. Vaughn and staff to family and friends!"

"I have been a patient for around 10 years. I was scheduled for a routine cleaning, But all I ended up with was x-rays, gum evaluation and dentist evaluation. When I first called I was told I couldn’t get a cleaning scheduled until May, I feel they just got me in the office today to prolong it. Until today I could only say excellent things about Dr. Vaughn and her staff. She was not there today or I’m sure I would not be posting this. I am completely disgusted and heartbroken because I have to start over with a new dentist!!"

"From the first time I came in to assess what treatment I would need to me walking out of the office yesterday, Dr. Vaughn and her staff have been nothing short of phenomenal! I’ve honestly never had a woman as a dentist but I think that’s honestly what sets her practice apart. You can tell that they care and they do everything they can to make sure you’re aware of and comfortable with everything! They even called me this morning just to check up and make sure that I was doing good. Nothing short of amazing!"
