"My Daughter has been a patient of Dr. Jackson since she grew teeth. His office staff is wonderful and have always accommodated me with appointment dates and times around my work and daughters school schedule. Dr. Jackson’s practice is set up so there's only kids in the treatment area. At first I didn't understand why but after seeing my daughter emerge smiling with balloons , stickers, and a treatment plan to brush and floss so she can make the wall of “no cavity” fame, I realized, she’s in great hands. She’s now 17, unafraid of going to the dentist, and has a routine to maintain healthy teeth and gums. Thank you Dr. Jackson for being consistent with the dental care you have provided Tori. She has a beautiful smile and it’s because of you!"
"Won’t be returning. And if your kid is scared to have a procedure and you want to sit in the room while it’s being performed you cannot. So parents beware. Dentist was rude didn’t have any compassion for my 11yo. Find another place to go"
"My children have been patients of Dr Jackson basically since his practice has been open in Power Springs. My oldest is 23 (aged out) my middle is 18 (since 5 yrs old) my youngest is 15 (since 3 yrs old) . They've been coming here since my oldest was 8. In the beginning it was wonderful. Very professional always did a wonderful job. Dr Jackson very attentive. But now in the last year or so it's gone down hill. Very unprofessional. The front office ladies like to talk smack about their patients in front of those waiting Like we all can't hear you. This has happened on 2 occasions. Last week I came to get my daughters cavities filled. Mocking and making fun of anyone that called in. And again a few times this last visit. Not as bad as the 1st time. I know banter goes on in offices, I worked for an attorney at one time, it happens. But we would never make fun of clients with other clients in the lobby/ waiting area. Just tacky and rude. This review is a build up of multiple incidents that have occurred that I have witnessed. 1st we came in for a cleaning on both children. We arrived early for out 330 and 4pm appts, as we always do, followed their protocol, waited til they called you in from your vehicle. We waited about 10 or 15 mins in the lobby. The one tech comes and gets my daughters I assume they're taking x-rays. They bring them back out into the lobby where they told us to sit since they still are following covid protocols. We wait til about 4 til one of my daughters appt was actually scheduled. They take them back. My 1st sign of something going on is a big sign on the counter that says No Cell Phones Allowed Beyond the Lobby door. A little sketch in my eyes. No big deal. But weird. So I sit in the seat they told me too in the little game room area. Where I stay seated til 530 for them to do cleanings. We had been there since 3:11 from what the receptionist said we clocked in at. That's fine. I noticed that other families were coming in that had to pay co pays they were being seen faster and coming out before mine. My one daughter asked them to check her filling they did a few months ago that has been bothering her. From her words they acted like they were trying to not take the blame for doing a shotty job. She's 18, not a child very well aware. Mind you it's 5:30 at this point. They even locked the door it was so late. After finally taking responsibility for their work they wanted to "fix"it. At 5:30. A cleaning shouldn't take more than an hr if you are a veteran dental hygienist. Mind you. I'm sitting in the lobby. I'm not sure if they thought I left or what. We didn't have time too. To end this. I just felt like we were being looked over compared itgother clients coming. My end of this is we will not be returning to Dr Jacskon we are looking into other dentists. I feel like because we have union ins and we really don't have to pay for our treatment we weren't on the prioity list. Our ins in paid through my husband's job. Everyone that paid cash that day got in and out quickly. While we sat for almost 2.5 hrs being ignored. I'm not sure what was going on but Dr Jackson need to to a re vamp of his office. He's a great dentist very well mannered. I just think he's under staffed and over booked. Patients are getting their quality time that is needed for some children."
"Worst dentist ever I called explaining to the receptionist Kristy regarding tooth pain my child was having the first available was not for another 2 weeks out. I asked Kristy what the protocol is if a patient has tooth pain, she advises to either give them Tylenol or Motrin and I advised her that isn't working she also explained to me well you will need to call your insurance for a new dentist. I have worked at a dentist office before and never have I ever heard anything about that before. Normally if your child is experiencing tooth pain, they will try to get you in as quickly as possible to do x rays and exam the tooth. She also said well we don't have the manpower to get a patient in just because you called the same day. No, we are not new patient yes, her attitude was trash."
"We've been coming here for a few years now and it's always a positive experience for us. My youngest daughter has sensory issues and was a major handful in the beginning, but Dr. Jackson and the hygienists have always been so patient and kind with her. Both my kids love coming here. Everyone is so friendly and good with the kids. Dr. Jackson is highly professional and always takes the time to answer any questions I have. He's great with the kids and takes the best care with us. I highly recommend this practice!"
