"We drove all the way from Nebraska because they had the camper we wanted at a great price. The entire process from the first phone call to leaving the lot with our new camper was wonderful! There were no gimmicks, and we never felt pressured into additional add-ons (this was the ONLY dealer that wasn't extremely pushy about financing through them/getting an extended warranty). "Incredibly shady business dealings, so incredibly glad this all came to light and their true colors showed before actually buying the travel trailer. The exchange was so bizarre that it would be too lengthy to list here to make sense. In short we agreed on a price on a travel trailer, the credit was ran and approved, we had a deal for all intents and purposes and we were trying to move things forward. Everything went smoothly, was told what we needed to do to make the deal go through, and we were completing all the steps as expected. Then we were told it would be over 10 business days before we could pick up the camper as they were just so busy selling so many trailers. I sent a very well documented text to my sales person stating that I would like to get things moving and finish up paperwork and take possession faster than that. 1-2 hours later I get a call that they SOLD the unit we had reserved (and were actively taking steps to purchase) and he “misinterpreted” my text to mean that I was no longer interested in the camper overall. Mistakes happen, misunderstandings happen but trust me people, this was no simple misunderstanding. There was no way physically possible to misinterpret that text. This is proven by their reaction which is where things catastrophically went down hill. It was best described as how one would react when they knew they did something shady, knew they screwed your over, and they were only interested in covering their own butts versus even an inch of movement to deescalate and remedy the situation. In short it was no accident, no misunderstanding. I was told over and over by the owner that “there was no deal” there was nothing “legally binding”. You better be an attorney to deal with this place or make certain you have every single thing in writing because their word means absolutely NOTHING. I am so happy I did not give these people a dime."
