"Very unprofessional employees, and when you ask for your prescription they won’t give you the documents that you request. Overpriced and very out of date facility. Much nicer and more reasonable of places out there."

"While rarely give, and certainly don't like giving one-star reviews, I feel this is necessary to spur the owner to action. Neither my wife or I were happy with turnaround times for our orders, and phone communication was simply lacking, even when promised. I had to call to get information. The term I heard from my wife was "scatterbrained," which is just a general impression which gives no insight. As an ex-business owner, now retired, I lived-for "Excellence in Customer Service" (W. Edwards Demming). When I see failures, I let the responsible folks know, so he/she/they can take corrective action. So I will apologize in-advance, but will provide details so those responsible can review and correct. ----- Emphasis: I find the staff kind and responsive to our needs. Our needs were addressed with our prompting and repeated efforts by us. My glasses, ordered 11/27/23, were to be custom-built. This was to be at least a 10 business day turnaround. They promised to call me when the glasses were returned from the place where they were ordered. On December 12th, I called to see if anything had happened. The staff member at first couldn't find my records, then finally found them and confirmed the glasses were "there." I was able to swing-by in minutes and the person at the counter couldn't find my record, then couldn't find my glasses, claiming there "wasn't a tray." I insisted the glasses were there per my recent conversation, then she began checking drawers around the shop. She found my glasses in a drawer beneath a display. On December 5th, 2023, my wife ordered her annual contact lenses. The eye exam confirmed no change to prescription. Counter staff took my wife's order as I waited, and we were told the turnaround might be longer than expected. We weren't asked to pay for anything at that time. January 8th, 2024: I called about my wife's order and was told someone would research. I was promised a call back but no call-back occurred. I called again after an hour and the person confirmed there was no order placed, claiming she "tried calling" without success (I saw no incoming call or voice mail). So we went directly to the shop, and got the order placed THIS TIME with written documentation. The "lead" staff member (she wears a blue jacket, and she sits in the lab behind the glass partitions) helped us this time. The turnaround was to be about 24 hours, as the contacts were "in stock." We would be advised, and my wife confirmed her phone number. No call occurred. So, on January 11, 2024, I called and confirmed that the lenses were in-fact there. I picked them up in minutes, as I was in the area. Neither of us are inclined to use the shop any more. While I will underscore that the staff are all sweet and certainly appear trained and knowledgable, the "process" seems broken somewhere."
