Marietta Memorial Pediatrics

"Akron Children's hospital taking over this pediatric department has been the absolute worst experience and customer service i have EVER experienced. Being a registered nurse for 15 years, I think that speaks volumes. First of all, my daughter had to go to the ER last fall. I called the pediatric office to schedule a follow-up appointment. I was put on hold for 25 minutes, THREE separate times. Not being able to call the office and being routed to a call center in Akron has made it impossible to schedule appointments. I was finally able to get an appointment scheduled, only for it to be canceled less than an hour before the actual appointment. I had already picked my daughter up from school when the office called to cancel this appointment. My daughter had her wellness visit scheduled shortly after, so we discussed her ER visit during her wellness visit. Akron Children's then proceeded to bill me for both a wellness visit and an office visit in the same day, as we discussed her ER visit. Never in my life have I seen a provider double bill for this reason. On top of that, we saw a GI provider from Akron Children's in Marietta. They said they would contact me with testing results. They never contacted me, so I reached out to the office. Someone was suppose to call me back and they never did. A week later, I had to call back again to follow-up. I said well, they doctor was going to order more testing but we had to complete this first. The receptionist accused me of demanding more testing be ordered. First, that is so unprofessional! Second, if you looked into her chart at all, you would have known that the doctor stated this! after 10 years being at this practice, I will be pulling my children out of this practice and going elsewhere."

"Dr. Adakri is amazing! He takes excellent care of the children, is kind and patient with everyone and answers every question. I never feel rushed when I have questions and he remembers details about the kids that I think shows his level of attention to his patients."

"Today I called the nurse line for my 10 month old son, they said to come in asap so we scheduled an appt at 1. He was having issues, so we called and said we wouldnt get there until 1:15 they confirmed that was fine. My son was in the door at 1:16 and because of that one minute they turned us away even though it was an emergent situation and it was only the 1 minute. This was Dr. Robert's, as I understand it is the physicians call on whether or not to see him when people are late. Literally the most pathetic experience I've ever had especially when it comes to children. Wish I could give 0 stars. Will never go back to that office, the front desk people were disgusting in the way they speak with people, this was not the only time they were exteremly rude either."
