"I went to 3 offices in the Augusta City Hall. EVERYONE was so nice and helpful! This has not been my experience years ago when I lived in Richmond County. WTG!"

"This place lacks efficiency, courtesy, and professionalism... I went to the 3rd floor for planning and developing to get a roofing permit and most of the people working upfront are gossiping and chatting regardless if there are people waiting for them to do their job, with no shame either..."
"The City of Augusta human resource department is a joke! Applied for a firefighter position and was scheduled to take and exam today! We I arrived to the testing site the young lady told me that the testing was done yesterday. The City of Augusta didn't call, email or send a letter to us stating the change. There was 5 gentleman at the testing site waiting for answers. Spoke to Shauna Taylor and she told me that the test date was changed at the last minute and to just reapply for the January test....wait....what??? Why am I being punished for a mistake that you made? I followed every instruction she sent. I took of work and made arrangements with my babysitter and the only thing you tell me to do is reapply??? She didn't even apologize for her mistake!!! BAD BUSINESS! No wonder the city is in shambles..."
"This place is going through serious renovations right now so you can't go into the building on Greene Street you have to go in back on Telfair Street, where the building process is going on. It's best to park in the parking lot rather in the front because you can't go in front. I think I do like the changes that are going on here. It looks very modern and nice. There are several services still in this building. Court is still held here, you can vote and register to vote here, and you can get your vehicle tag here too. This is why I was recently here. The tag office has relocated inside of this building. It is on the right once you come through the hallway after you enter the building. The process was pretty quick this time. I went to the one on Laney Walker last year and the line was extremely long but there was no line here. I was in and out within 15 minutes. The staff here was very helpful and courteous. They seemed to enjoy their job and it showed with their swiftness and pleasant dispositions. I think I will come here from now on since it was a breeze besides having to come in through the back."
