Dr. Stephen R. Timms, MD 3 East Benjamin Drive, New Martinsville, WV 26155

"I normally see Dr. Timms at Wetzel County Hospital, but for my last appointment we scheduled it for his office in Wheeling. They had called me and asked if I could be at my appointment any earlier than 1:15pm and I said I could probably make it there by 1pm. I called back and talked to the receptionist to let her know I was on my way and would be there by 1pm and she said that was fine. When I got to his office, the lights were out and the door was locked. They did not call to say they were cancelling my appointment. I really needed to see Dr.Timms because I have epilepsy, am 6 months pregnant and have had 3 seizures since I have been pregnant (Dr.Timms also knew all of this.) I have been waiting for this appointment since my first seizure (2 months ago) and he just decides to leaves his office without calling to tell me so we could reschedule???? I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He is very hard to get ahold of and it appears him and his receptionists are not on top of things nor considerate enough to call and cancel before locking up the office and leaving knowing they had a patient on the way there. What a waste of time!"
