Reviews of Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bremen
"The nicest microtel I've ever stayed in. And that's coming from a business traveler who stays in 240+ different hotels a year. This property is nicely updated, the linens are fluffy and high quality, My room was very clean. But the best part by far was the personnel. Tyler was an extremely helpful and friendly reception. Same goes for the young lady at checkout this morning. Even have to say sleeping on highway side of the property I did not experience a lot of interstate noise. It was quite disturbing to be woken at 6:00 a.m. to the garbage collection right outside my window. Note to manager But a very delightful experience overall and not your typical microtel"
"Worst hotel experience I've ever had!! First off I was given incorrect information. The front desk clerk was not familiar with their AAA discounts. But told me he would take taxes off the room okay fair enough. I asked for late check out I was told if I wanted to let check out I had to pay a deposit $100 okay. I did that as well. My checkout was made for 2:00 I thought this was fair because I was checking in the hotel at 2:00am in the morning. which should have been the whole day but because I knew I didn't need the room that long I agreed to the $100 deposit for the late checkout. One of the key cards didn't work... That was the first bad sign and then I was checked into a dirty room. The bed wasn't made and there was trash in the cans. The discard did put me in a clean room however my troubles got worse the very next day. In the middle of my meeting I get a call from my daughter telling me she was physically being put out of the room because there was no such thing as a late check out at that hotel. I had to leave my business meeting and rush over to my daughter. I was told their graveyard shift desk clerk was an idiot and had been messing up left and right. I told him that's not my problem. we go back and forth for 30 minutes they were so unprofessional. They look unprofessional!! Both the manager and the morning shift desk clerk looked as if they rolled out of bed from the hair to the clothes disgusting looking people. I am now fighting to get my deposit back haven't received a dime of it yet. Although I have a receipt from the hotel saying that I am owed a deposit. The whole reason for me choosing the hotel was the location. Please save yourself the trouble and never stay here. It needs a serious update and it's disgusting. Looks can be deceiving the money was spent on the outside of the hotel because inside Jesus couldn't even help it."
"My Brother and I were traveling for a family reunion. My brother had made reservations here for six nights. The room was absolutely horrible. Night of check in, we were both tired from a full day of travel from CA. As we stood waiting for CK in, a lady employee was checking in a group of men, at least 5. After about a half hour, I asked a male employee if he could check us in. He turned and walked away without saying anything. A few minutes later he came back and checked us in. When I got to my room, I noticed the floor was sticky. Being very tired, I went to bed and knew that I would ask for a different room in the morning. Well, my brother went to talk with them in the morning and they just began saying that there was nothing wrong with the room and they had notes about our ck-in. Employee started yelling at my brother and so he decided to call the Police. Meanwhile, I am back at the room packing my things up and the door was open. I turned around and there were 3 LG Police officers standing in the hallway. I said"Am I in trouble" and they said "NO", we just need you to leave the room. I said "Gladly", I am already packing. Trust me, you DON'T WANT TO STAY HERE."
"First let's start off by saying I booked through a third party. When I first got there I was giving a room key and told that my room will be 417 I went into the room and was surprised that it was a double bed I didn't think anything of it as I was putting my stuff in the refrigerator and setting up for my weekend I noticed the floor was really dirty, so I went downstairs and asked if they could vacuum it they realize they had put me in the wrong room so we moved to the different room no issue. When going into which is right next door to the prior I noticed the floor and it was dirty and had them vacuum it. As the time went on throughout the weekend we started noticing more and more stuff that was unacceptable. The TV volume was locked at 15 and wouldn't go any higher and we couldn't hear the TV at all. The air conditioner only works for 30 seconds at a time. The refrigerator wouldn't get that cold so my food was fairly chilled but not cold like a refrigerator supposed to be. There was dirt grime all over the room. There was a long black hair with a huge follicle hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom. There was matching red stains on the pillowcase and the sheets and even a blood stain at the end of the bed. There was some kind of caramel or sticky substance underneath the refrigerator. The carpet was very badly soiled and stained. All of the towels were dingy and dirty. We had to go to the store and buy our own pillows and towels just to be able to survive the weekend. The breakfast was okay except for the foul smelling trash can next to the coffee bar. The staff was rude and very unaccommodating. The owner is argumentative and we'll talk over you when you try to voice your opinions or your issues. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. I wasn't the only one disappointed this weekend. There was a man in the lobby with three police officers demanding his money back because he pulled back his covers and found bed bugs. I stayed at this Hotel a little over a year ago and it was no issue but this time around was deplorable and disgusting. I feel like this place should be shut down and have a really really good cleaning before they let anybody else rent a room. Needless to say I will not be going back ever."
"Beautiful hotel. Great service. Very clean rooms. Comfortable bed and pillows. The rooms are very tiny, but that's to be expected out of microtel. Would definitely stay here again."
