"This evening my family and I walked in. There couldn’t have been 5 customers in the store counting us. I stood at the gun counter for a good 15 minutes. Several employees walked by. Not a “hey, can I help you” or “can I show you something “. There were also 3-4 employees by, I guess the service desk as soon as you walk in. Most looked like managers. Not one of them offered any assistance. So, I told the wife let’s go. They obviously have no interest in making a sale. I will never purchase anything from Ace Hardware again."
"Large, clean, well-appointed hardware store. Friendly and helpful staff awaited our entry to the store. We had called ahead to make sure they had the item I wanted (a specific gas grill of a specific color). They checked inventory & the floor, and had one. They set it aside in the office to ensure it was still around when I got there. First rate experience."
