Reviews
"*THIS DETAILED REVIEW IS FOR ANY POTENTIAL PARENTS & EMPLOYEES* I was hired at Kids r Kids Learning Academy of South Fulton on 11/03/2023 as a Lead Teacher for the Toddlers. I shortly resigned on 11/08/2023 due to a personal matter that had nothing to do with the facility. During my time at Kids r Kids, I had the opportunity of meeting & working with different teachers. On my first day, I assisted Ms. Amanda in the Toddler room. Ms. Amanda’s demeanor and style of teaching is a no go. Ms. Amanda should not be a Teacher at this time. I was assisting her from 8am-2pm and during that time, I witnessed her play inappropriate music for children aloud from her phone, call multiple children out of their names, and she even hit a child. This child did not deserve the abuse. Ms. Amanda got upset when the child unintentionally torn his disposable bib during Lunch time. She then popped him on his outer hand. I was sadden by the situation and immediately reported it to DFACS. It is our duty as child care providers to be here for these children mentally, physically, sociologically, and emotionally. Who knows if the abuse is still continuing. Shame on Ms. Amanda. On my second day, Ms. Amanda called out so I was told by the Director to assist the One Year Old Teacher while combining our classes. I clocked in at 7 am. The One’s teacher arrived at 9am. I do not know her name. We were never properly introduced. When she arrived, she immediately turned off the kids nursery rhymes and turned on her personal music. To be specific, she played “Boo’d Up” by Ella Mai along with other inappropriate R&B Music. This was such an inconsiderate and unprofessional act to do. She did not greet myself nor the children. She did not interact while children were having free time. To add on, I witnessed both Ms. Amanda and the One’s Teacher unethical behavior during recess. They did not play with the children, interact with the children, backs were turned to some children, and the use of phones was high. The children were not properly cared for at this time. For both of those days, I also worked a little with Ms. Phyllis. She was very polite, welcoming, and you can tell she cares about the children. She had no issues comforting children who sad about leaving their parents, she sipped faces and hands, and she interacts with the children. Way to go Ms. Phyllis! The owner (whose name I forgotten) and the Director Ms. Gil seem like very good people for the short time of me being there. However, Ms. Gil seems too strict for child care. She never smiles and did not seem happy, nor in a cheery spirit for the children. Everything about her was blunt, unwelcoming and did not give a warm feeling. I got the feeling that she did not like her job. The two women working at the front desk had the same vibes as Ms. Gil but maybe slightly more warming. For the most part they were in their chairs eating or slouched over. It is a very unprofessional look. Overall I would have to give this school one star. I am big on proper child care. It is important that we as child care providers provide a safe, clean, and healthy environment for children to develop & grow. The things I’ve witnessed in such a short period of time are unacceptable. Children can suffer tremendously from not receiving proper attention, mistreatment, abuse, and if they fear for their safety. It also does not hurt to smile and love on the children. I met and assisted more teachers in this facility and saw NO LOVE being poured into these children except for Ms. Phyllis and another teacher who assists with morning flow. We as teachers, do not know all the challenges these children may face outside of school. It is important to show the proper amount of love and care while the children are in your care!! Kids r Kids Learning Academy of South Fulton needs some serious reconstructing."
"This is a highly professional educational center for kids newborn to 5 or pre-k. Kids wear uniforms and the teachers actually teach lessons. Their play ground is well kept and the food is good according to the kids. They also take financial assistance from various programs."
"The negative comments seem to be from parents who didn't get their way or are truly in denial. I've had no problems with Kids R Kids, the staff is great and they are willing to work with you (to the best of their ability)"
"I should have went by the review that was posted 6 months ago. At the beginning they so welcoming when I was paying for the school weekly. Now that switched over the Georgia pre-k program; it only been a one week of school and they called me every single day, they do not allow the child to adjust to the school at all. They claim my child hit a teacher but I am not allowed to see the footage of what happened because the teacher told me herself that picked up my child during a tantrum which they are not allowed to do. Due to this my child was just put out the school. They also added things about my child that are entirely untrue. They said my child don’t talk and etc, and she talks perfectly well. DO NOT PUT YOUR KIDS IN THIS SCHOOL UNLESS YOU ARE STARTING FROM DAY ONE OF THE CHILDS LIFE!!!!!"
"Unprofessional daycare! My daughter was disenrolled after 3hours for “not adjusting” which is ridiculous due to her being a 2 year old who’s never attended school. But hey, in the words of the director “they have a waiting list full of people waiting, so one child dont make a difference” definitely don’t recommend!"
