"A fire museum located in Marietta GA. I really enjoyed all of the engines and fire fighting tech that is displayed from 1850s to modern time. The all chrome antique fire engine may be may favorite next to the retired control room. I would recommend this for anyone that is appreciates fire houses or the tech behind it. And the museum is free but does take donations!"
"Great free way to entertain a toddler on a frigid rainy day! We got about an hour entertainment from our visit with our 1.75 yr old. Wayfinding is a bit difficult. Park in the parking deck behind the firehouse and it's free. Go up the stairs on the side of the building and through the door on your right. Then it's down the hallway on the right. Bathrooms are on the bottom floor, go to your left as you exit the museum and they're the second hallway on the left."
"Small but wonderful museum on the history of firefighting in Marietta. Six former vehicles as well as gear and a history of equipment improvements and major fires over the years."
"Excellent Fire House Museum. The museum details the history of Marietta Fire Department from 1800's to today. Plan on spending couple of hours there. The museum has two floors of fire trucks. Downstairs is a display case filled with scale models of fire trucks."
"Very well organized and informative. We did a self guided tour. They have a lot of information you can read through. Good for both kids and adults. And oh, they do have a donation box, but it is free to visit the museum."
