"One of my goals this past year was to take my 12 yr old boy & 14 yr old girl rock climbing to the New River Gorge. We had an incredible time!!! While I've found others companies lacked in their safety procedures and teaching, Elaina exceeded my expectations. At one point, another climber recognized Elaina and asked my kids "do you know who you are climbing with?" My daughter who is afraid of heights even repelled off a cliff!!! Elaina the entire time was a gentle stand for moving forward and accepting where my kids where they were in their own discovery of rock climbing. I highly recommend using New River Mountain Guides!! "Our guide, Tim, was great. He showed up on time with a plan tailored to our skill level. There was a bit of rain and he was able to work in some ground school. Fortunately, the sky cleared up and he showed us several awesome routes. He was very knowledgeable about the area and climbing. He encouraged good safety practices and we felt very comfortable throughout. We had a blast and would definitely do this again!"
