"I purchased the meal of the day and a chicken sandwich kids meal. The meal of the day was hamburger steak and gravy with mac and cheese a fried Okra. It's delicious just wish the had mushrooms instead of onions. The kids meal is a great size and the fries were slightly seasoned. Staff was extremely nice and food was hot and served timely. Dessert was a chocolate pie. Prices are great for the food and service. Tomorrow's chicken dressing. Will definitely continue patronizing."

"It has been years since I've stopped to eat here. I think the switched owners. I was going to give them a 4 star because the squash casserole was very bitter. I downgraded to a 2 star because I found a piece of plastic in the squash as I was chewing. That maybe the reason why the squash was bitter. I had 2 orders of squash. The other one will go in the trash because i don't want to take any chances. I wish i could add pictures. People please be careful!!! The fried fish was really good. It just didn't have enough meat in it for me. The customer service was great. The lady that took my order was really nice."

"Fried Catfish, Fried okra and Mac and cheese was unbeatable. The best I’ve ever had and reminded me of my grandpas fried catfish. Was my number 1 comfort food while I was in Auburn and will be missed very much. Staff was always so nice and will definitely be stopping by when I visit. "Good selection of veggies cooked southern home style without pork seasonings. Also have chicken fingers baked or fried and talapia which is farm raised. The sweet potato soufle is wonderful and could pass for dessert. They usually have blackberry or peach cobbler for dessert. Seniors receive free drinks with refills. One may eat in or take out. The staff is friendly and the restrooms are clean. Quick in and out and restaurant is easily seen from College Street heading south bound turn in right after Best Auto."
