Prince Brothers General Store–Berry Store, located at 9349 Stanaford Road in Prince, West Virginia, United States, has a rich history dating back to 1872 when the Prince family opened the store. Initially known as the Prince Store, it quickly became a popular destination for residents in the New River Gorge area. Situated in a prime location near coal towns and the C&O Railway main line, the store offered a wide variety of goods and fast, efficient supply.

Unlike the company stores owned by coal operators in the region, the Prince Store provided miners and their families with an alternative shopping experience. Offering better quality goods and a diverse selection of products, the store attracted customers from Raleigh, Wyoming, Mercer, and Logan counties. The store's success continued to grow over the years, especially after the opening of the railroad bridge in 1901, which brought in more business.

After being operated by the Prince family for many years, the store was eventually purchased by Herman Monk in 1944, who renamed it "Monk's Store". Under Monk's ownership, the store thrived and offered local delivery services to customers in the surrounding areas. Following Monk's retirement in 1975, Edna Mae Berry took over the store until its closure in 1984.

In recognition of its historical significance, the National Park Service added the Prince Brothers General Store to the National Register of Historical Places in 1986. Today, the store is managed by the National Park Service and serves as a reminder of the town of Prince's unique history as one of the few towns not owned by a coal company in the New River Gorge area. While the store building is not open to visitors, its presence next to WV-41 serves as a reminder of its important role in the community.
