"My husband went here for his blacklung testing and we have to say that this Hospital was just awesome! It was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. As soon as you walk in, there is a computer where you can sign yourself in with name, dob, and phone number and they got us right in to register. There was no waiting time at all. The Blacklung Department was very pleasant and overall just nice to be around. We were very impressed and happy with our visit here. "I took my husband here after a atv accident, closet place to go. I will never return there again. He had had a few beers and when I say a few I mean less than 6, so yes his fault. He was repeatedly asked, sir what are you on?, my husband doesn't do drugs. We were not treated well by all the staff. I went to the nurses station to ask for something and overheard Dr Berry call my husband a drunk s.o.b . You should have seen his face when he stepped out and saw me there. Then at discharge I was treated like a simpleton for asking questions, I'm educated and knew what I was asking and talking about. I have so much more that I could say but calling my husband out of his name was more than enough, well never go there again. I'm betting I will get nothing but a commputer generated response to this review when what I really need is an apology. I will drive to Charleston next time."

"My husband was taken to Boone Memorial Hospital after a wreck that totaled our car. His experience is summed up with these words, " Here you are, we will get a few x rays and come back and talk with you. They did not check his pupils. He did not think he had lost consciousness, but was not sure. They x rayed his ribs on LT side, neck and chest x rays.When he got to the ER, the Tech came in with his discharge papers. NOTHING WAS SAID ABOUT THE X RAYS AND ONLY instructions given verbally were about his prescriptions, and to see family doctor within 48 hours. He was given written instructions."
