"Unsafe for kids - mine is in a cast! The one star is for the beautiful grounds and gentle horses. For the safety and employees, I give zero stars. We did the 10 & under experience for my 5 & 7 year old and my child ended up in a full arm cast with a fractured bone, after her saddle fell to the side with her in it. Clearly, the girdle was not tight enough around the horse to hold the saddle in place. The horse instructor gave zero riding or safety instructions to my kids - other than hold onto the saddle, which would have been ok if the saddle stayed on the horse. She forgot their helmets until I finally said something and we had to go back to the barn to get them. I’m so glad she didn’t fall during the ride without the helmet bc that part was on asphalt and could have been much worse. This unfortunate experience could have been because the instructor was new, she said she’d been there for two weeks. Based on these harmful errors, she seemed inexperienced or not trained for the kids rides. After the saddle and my child fell, the instructor re-saddled the horse and cut the ride short, which was fine, but she acted like it was all ok and normal for the saddle to slide off the horses back. Sadly, no one at the company even asked how my daughter was or ever followed up with us. I do not recommend this company for kids because the employees are NOT reliable for safety measures and they don’t seem to really care. If the company would have done anything as an attempt to make this better (apologize, act concerned, offer a refund, etc.) I would not feel as negatively about the company, however, here we are. "This was the first stop of our Anniversary trip! This was my first time riding an ATV. I was extremely nervous, but the tour guide was equally just as patient and encouraging. They have an informative “how to” at the beginning of the session. There’s a tour guide leading and one at the end to make sure no one gets left behind. The trail itself is a peaceful adventure. As stated on the website, you’ll go as fast as your slowest person. Luckily (for me), my husband and I were the only ones in our session, so I was able to truly go at my own pace. It was great time and a good kick off to our amazing weekend in Blue Ridge!"

"We booked both the horseback riding and ATV tour with Picture Perfect and we had an amazing time! Kimberly led us through their gorgeous trails on horseback - she was so personable and informative. She made sure we were comfortable on the horses and you could tell she loved the animals and loved what she was doing. The horses were gorgeous and they were so great to ride - their personalities really came out during our tour and it made it that much more fun. I’d note that you are required to wear a riding helmet but you can take it off for photos towards the end. We took a lunch break and returned where Ana got us set up to go on the ATV tour. This was super fun. You should note that the trails are the same and the ATV tour does get a bit redundant, but it was still enjoyable. Also, your group speed and experience is very much based on the slowest or least experienced of the group. This is typical of tours like this and they did mention it before we took off too. They ensure you’re comfortable with safety and instructions and you’re off to enjoy."

"I gifted my Son a ATV excursion for Spring Break. They decided to go to Picture Perfect Adv. at the last minute. Due to bad service in the area, they got a little turned around with timing & proximity. Picture Perfect was helpful in navigating them to the location, very accommodating, and they had an awesome time. This was their first time on ATVs and Picture Perfect made it super fun and memorable."

"This was an awesome experience! My boyfriend had never ridden a horse before, and he really enjoyed it. I’m a more experienced rider, and I had an excellent time as well. The staff was fantastic from booking to changing schedules to the trial ride itself. The grounds are beautiful- so are the horses!"
