Henry Ford Medical Center - Bloomfield Township 1961 South Telegraph Road, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302

"Every time i come here i have a new misadventure From the rude condesending customer service people to long waits sometimes 2 hours sitting in the waiting room to see a doctor for 20 minutes. Is it done on purpose to annoy me i don't know. Came in to see orthopedics about a broken finger. One hour wait in the room. He has the nurse splint it. Third time doesn't work. The splint come off the same day. I bought a metal one and its still on. These people just don't care about medicine anymore. I leave a little disappointed with still another appointment. I am walking down the hall and a short white guy in uniform wearing a short sleve shirt is following me around. When i get to the front desk he says she went to ortho to get a splint for a broken finger. Why is he telling someone that. This is not a jail or a mental institution. I reported it to security they pretended he did not work for them but they would pull the camera tape and get back with me. They have not. Nice hospital but tacky staff. If i could give them zero stars i would."

"One of the most unprofessional doctors visits I’ve been to. Got blood work done and was not taken seriously, got given a different patients file when I went to the lab, and was never notified when my blood work was done and have to now google and compare my blood test and it proves what I was concerned about was accurate and they made me feel small and unheard. Would never go back or tell anyone to come here. So disappointed with medial ‘care’ here."

"my mom was admitted here after complications with her foot surgery. she had passed out at home and was taken by an ambulance to this hospital. she was never given a room, and they put her in a bed in a hallway that held 5+ other patients. it took two hours for her to receive fluids and get tests done, mind you she was extremely dehydrated and in a lot of pain. three more hours passed and with no results, she decided to discharge herself since nothing seemed to be happening. the nurses couldn't care less about finding pillows to elevate her foot, and overall everyone seemed to be filled with apathy. the doctor accused my mom of being an addict, and was overtly rude and very unprofessional. do not take your loved ones here. i understand working in healthcare isn’t easy, but try to care about your patients at the very least!"

"I wish I had discovered this place sooner.I went this morning for lab work. I am a new patient. I took an appointment slot for 9.15am online. This ensures a spot in the wait list. The front desk lady for the lab services is amazing. She was so pleasant and helpful. She said it will take a bit to get me into their but she was fast! The lab orders were from Trinity Health, they had to manually enter it. Despite that, it took just 20 mins to be called in for blood draw. The whole process was quick. They said the results will be in between 24 to 48 hours. I will be using only this lab from now on."

"I love the facility and doctors. My concerns are with the greeter at the main entrance. There's a newer male employee that has been here for about 3-4 months. He is the first person to "screen" you at the main entrance doors, which consists of "any covid symptoms and do you know where you're going." He consistently displays curtness with multiple patients. He acts as if he's inconvenienced by the presence of the patients entering the facility, makes snippy comments, shakes his head, laughs and mumbles under his breath as they're walking away. He is especially impatient with the elderly and cuts them off and talks over them if they cannot answer or move fast enough to his liking. In addition, he is often on his cellphone loudly watching movies and loudly speaking on lengthy personal calls, which often include swearing. I witnessed this behavior again today, June 27 between 11am and noon! I cannot believe that Henry Ford Hospital would not be aware of this employee's completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior! I've been under physical care 2-3 times a week for months now, sitting in the waiting area often, and this is not a good representation of Henry Ford Hospital. Management needs to start monitoring and do a performance review. I'll provide updates as they become available."
