"Although Our coming here was due to an unfortunate event, Our overall stay was very pleasant. From Management to Maintainance to Housekeeping, All very helpful and kind."
"Overall stay was great. Only dislike is that there is no rooms for smokers so you have to go outside. My opinion i feel like they should let you pay some type of smoking fee if you choose to smoke in your room."
"****edited**** i needed to update my initial review and clear up the way a review is supposed to be. below the edited version is the original for reference, i failed to mention the good, only mentioning the confusion. overall it puts me in mind of a college dorm room setup, which is good for me, though it may also be the mindset i have right now. the water gets hot and the space is relatively clean. management is strict, which means that forest park PD is a call away. this means safety, though. not every city/town/street/business can call their police department for assistance and have them show up, or be around just in case. this is important to me. concerning commute, it’s a 15 minute drive by car, 31 minutes by bus to old national highway, surprisingly. there are shops, gas stations and doctor’s offices in the surrounding area, and it’s not a busy area, which means no loud traffic noises at night. their website and i do have some making up to do, i am/have auadhd and am becoming normalized to interacting with people, so i am grateful everything is able to be worked out. *************************** i booked the room for the week starting on saturday and ending on saturday at 11am, and planned on living here for a while. i was told my payments would renew weekly, with notable price changes, the amount decreasing the longer i stayed. the initial week was $400. it laid out the charges for that week. i renewed on friday, it laid out the charges once more, for that coming week. the total was $62. it specifically states weekly charges. i paid, and used the remainder to purchase school supplies on saturday. when i returned, my key wouldn’t work, so i went to the office. i was told the system switched to daily charges, even though the details for the charge state weekly. i was told they would honor the payment made for that day, as though i was supposed to be checked out, and to make a reservation the same night for monday since the office is closed on sundays. i returned my school supplies the same day, on saturday. on attempt to make a reservation, their location didn’t come up. when i tried to renew for sunday to pay by day with the money received from my school supplies, it stated that my information did not exist. a couple hours later, it allowed me to make a reservation. maintenance came today (sunday) at 9am to tell me i needed to be out by 12pm, that it was the information she (management) left for him last night. i explained to him the situation, that i should be able to renew based on their terms and conditions, but he is maintenance, and no one answers the phone on sundays because they are closed. it is not even 11am yet, which is the time payments are due without a penalty fee…"
"I recently resided at this property for 2 months but it ended so suddenly when the girl Elena chose to disrespect me talking to me reckless all because I asked for the managers info, I tried my hardest to inform her that I did not have a problem with her or anyone on the property I just had some issues I needed to discuss with the manager. When she asked me about the issues an I told her she continued to tell me well if you didn't tell anyone on the property closed mouths don't get fed, I didn't understand why she was so nasty towards me because I've been unproblematic and I always make conversation with her and Denise, I understand hotel policies I've worked at extended stay America in the past an I've never spoken to anyone the way she did to me, long story short because I wouldn't allow her to disrespect and over talk me she declined my payment, checked me out and told me I had to be off the property by 7:30, no less than 20 minutes the police was at the room door telling me she said I threatened her and also if I didn't leave the property they would take a criminal trespassing warrant out and I wouldn't be able to come back to that property for 2 years. I was shocked and instantly started crying because I have cancer I've been really sick the last few days and like I said I've never caused problems or threatened anyone. All I can do now it's try to recover from this because I had to find another hotel in short period of time. This was beyond the worst I'll never reside there again. I do have pics of the concerns I had."
