"One of the best courses I've been on. Well maintained, not too hard, not too easy. Almost every hole is Par 3, but they are all very different from each other and they loop well back to the main parking area for the course."
"This is a very nice disc golf course. The front nine is pretty much open with the exception of holes 5 & 6, which are very short holes back in the woods. The front 9 is designed around a small lake and is very scenic with mountain backgrounds. The course has long and short concrete tee pads and yardage markers at each tee. There is a practice area next to the first tee with basket and a lot of room around the park if you wanted to just go to a field to throw some to warm up. The back 9 is quite elevated with woods and terrain changes from holes 12 through 16. The back 9 is much more of a challenge. You will need to bring all of your shot making skills to this challenging and fun course to play. It's a very good course for beginners and intermediate players."

"For sure one of the best-kept secrets is Barboursville Parkit has an array of recreational things to do for mountain biking to hiking trails to fishing in the lake and disc golfing at two courses it also has basketball tennis courtsan amphitheater for music and plenty of shelters to rent for large events like family picnics. And best of all it's a non-smoking Park!"
