"BEWARE. Omg where do I even begin. We were so excited to hire Leann. After our initial consultation, we paid $2500 to get the process started. We finally had a breath of fresh air due to the fact that we had just hired an attorney that really wanted to take on our custody case. We started out great. The serving papers were typed up, with just a few errors. Long story short, we have been trying to get in contact with someone in regards to adjusting some small errors on the serving paperwork. We made countless phone calls to Leannes office and we were never able to make contact again. After TWO WEEKS of waiting for a return phone call, we were informed today that she can no longer represent us due to a “conflict of interest”. The defendant in our case went in for a consultation over 2 years ago with Leann but never hired her. We were willing to pay Leann $8,000 if not more to help us. What a waste of 2 weeks, as we could have hired a different attorney and already had this ball rolling by now. Such a waste of time. I do NOT recommend."
"Would not recommend at all. After years of separation, going through a law firm in Atlanta that made multiple mistakes, led me into not filing an at fault divorce and settling instead of fighting for my martial rights “because it would save time and money”. I finally released the first firm and decided to retain and hired Ms. Leanne to correct errors and review the financial affidavits, go over the parental plan and discuss issues my ex and I were experiencing for the past four years. Including my ex not showing up on his days, canceling doctors appointments, not paying child support consistently or his portion of expenses. Not to forget he moved miles away, about an hour away from the girls and moving in with his girlfriend after 3 months of dating. When our case was finally docketed for review before the judge, I called Ms. Cooper’s office multiple times to prepare for court. I was told not to worry, I wouldn’t have to speak, everything was in my favor, she would do the talking and nothing was needed to review or prepare for. Unfortunately, not only was that not the case, she fumbled over her words, was very unprepared and ended up calling me on the stand as a witness to review documents I hadn’t seen in over two years. Because my lawyer called me onto the stand I was cross examined and accused of cheating. At no point during the cross examination did she object the questioning that had zero to do with the financials or address the accusations. This was absolutely the worst experience ever. I hired her specifically to ensure the girls and I were represented, to recoup costs not covered and correct the financial discrepancies in my ex’s affidavit. Not only was our case not represented correctly, she had the audacity to say, “it’s okay we can take your ex back to court later.” As if, I wanted to do that again. Divorce is already exhausting, heart wrenching, and you want a lawyer that’s prepared and has your best interest at hand. This was absolutely anything but that. Later I found out she’s good friends with my ex’s representation. So, although she’s typically known for being a great lawyer, not my case. Not even sort of."
"I hired this firm very excited. They were highly recommend. I can’t speak on Mrs. cooper or McCords behalf, but maritza Ramos is who i got stuck with from this firm. Hired her for a custody case, if she fought as hard in court as she did with me on our phone calls when I’d ask questions. She might be a decent lawyer. I produced not all but most things requested on a short time period that should of been 30days. She did not produce anything I sent her she laid down in court then decided to withdraw from my case. On top of this she takes lots of personal time off then comes back a day before court. She does not keep her word and back tracks on things she tells you. When called out she gets in defense mode and denies everything. Very disappointed this firm has a good reputation, but I assure you it’s not because of Ramos. Hire any one but, maritza Ramos save your hard earned money on a better lawyer."
"I could not have been more impressed with Leanne's preparation, intelligence, strategy, or effectiveness. She represented my bonus-daughter recently in a custody modification; she explained everything thoroughly and wasted no time or energy on useless legal tactics. She made short work of a case another lawyer had completely botched for a year. Her entire staff is courteous and helpful. They understand the importance of a good family law attorney, and they delivered complete and total client satisfaction."
"If you are looking for a Lawyer that stands up for you in the courts then I urge you to give Leanne a chance. She has been my lawyer for the past three and a half years. She was able to get me week on week off visitation with my children. She has also helped me in the courts with two contempt cases since my final divorce. Needless to say I won both of those as well. I am very grateful for all she has done for my children and I."
