"GOOD AFTERNOON TO YOU THIS IS MISS WRIGHT FROM SPEANCE CHAD LEE OFFICE WE WOULD LIKE FOR TO BE DEMECIA ALLEN LAWYER UP HERE CAUSE BE HER YOUYH ADULT LAWYER IN ALABAMA SO WE CAN KEEP HERE SAFE AND SOUND FOR HER AND CHILD"
"This by far has to be the worst attorney I have yet to encounter! This attorney did not complete simple task that have jeopardized the WHOLE case. Per the judge notification of the trial was sent 5 months prior to the trial date(02/15/23). The judge required 1. Court report, 2. Completion of a parenting class, 3. W2's and paystubs, and 4. Mediation 20 days prior to the court date. NONE of the requirements were met and the attorney didn't even bother to provide even a mere apology or explanation to the judge nor the client for dropping this HUGE ball. I mean we didn't even have a COURT REPORTER for trial! Who does that? This cannot possibly be an reputable attorney firm! This case has so many moving parts I would have liked to think the attorney was clear and understood the importance of getting this completed TODAY. However we were met with the threat of a dismissal which would mean "RE-FILING EVERYTHING/STARTING OVER" if a solution is not obtained with the court appointed mediator! Well guess what surprise NO solution was obtained today and now we are at the mercy of the judge to provide a continuation vs a dismissal. In the words of the judge this is completely UNACCEPTABLE. Not to mention I was supposed to take the stand for testimony and the attorney NEVER even contacted me to prep me for questioning nor did he even bother to introduce himself or provide any pertinent information that maybe beneficial for the case. I will definitely be making a formal complaint against this firm and my recommendations to anyone considering this firm is to keep looking this is NOT it.... Update to response 07/24/23- If you read you will see I stated I was apart of this very unorganized trial, I would NEVER be your client. However these are the FACTS of what I personally witnessed/observed on this day. You can acknowledge your faults and apologize for waisting my time on the day in question or we can simply leave it here for the people to decide which is what this platform is for and move on."
"Probably the worst experience I’ve had with a lawyer. Emails go unanswered. Phone calls go unreturned. Never in the office. I can’t even get an update or status of my ongoing child custody case. From previous reviews it looks like I must’ve gotten the wrong Cooper to handle my case. There is no way it can be a “team effort” in this office if me, e-mails, and phone calls can be ignored this long. I spent $2000 literally for nothing. Not even an update. Just for statements of what can be done and filed, but to my knowledge because nothing had been communicated to me, I still have no idea of what has been completed. My last update was August 2021 and I have to be the one to continuously reach out to try to get information for a service I paid for."
