"My partner and I have worked with Ms. Collins twice to address family law case issues. The first time (about 12 years ago) she helped us gain sole legal custody of our son; she helped us to understand how to navigate the professional and the interpersonal aspects of working with judicial officers, judges, and a court appointed Guardian Ad Litem. This year she helped us reach a settlement agreement for a modification case with our child’s other biological parent. "I do agree with some of the other comments that Aisha show bias to fathers as a GAL. She accused me of lying after our initial interview then quietly before the hearing apologize when she find the notes from our conversation in her unorganized notebook. While I do take responsibility for accepting poor counsel in case, Aisha's unfair opinion of me set the downward path for my case way before the final order was given. As a mother who has had my relationship with my son destroyed by a person who felt it was more important to favor "Track and Field" during the summer than my son having needed time with his mother and family, it's important that I give this review. My review is 5 years late, but I hope I am able to help another mother in her fight to keep her children."
