Law Office of Jay G. Wall

"Jay says and does all the right things in the beginning. He returns your calls, replies to your texts even while on vacation with family, and tells you how he is going to go about fighting for you and planning an effective defense. You go to his office to pay him and he talks to you for an hour and once again is your advocate and tells you how he is going to vigorously fight for you! Then you leave his office and things start to go downhill. Your calls, texts, and emails start getting responded to less and less, the phone records he told you that day in his office he was going to issue a subpoena for never get taken care of, and then when you get frustrated about the lack of progress, he gives you attitude, tells you that you should go find another attorney, and then actually mocks you. I know many people go online and leave bad reviews for restaurants, attorneys, etc and are just people who were wanting something for free or are either upset about the outcome of their case or are misrepresenting what their attorney told them. That's not the case here. I rarely leave negative reviews. I'm the one who usually leaves glowing 3 paragraph reviews for companies or individuals. I have all the texts from Jay where he continuously told me he was going to issue a subpoena for the phone records (I was charged with misdemeanor harassing phone calls) beginning in February 2023 and literally the week before my trial in July 2023 he had not gotten them yet. Once I expressed my frustration and told him we needed those phone records if I was to go to trial is when he started texting me all the rude messages and telling me I should go find another attorney. He told me this just days before my trial. When I texted him back and told him I did not appreciate the way he was talking to me, he actually replied back that he was joking and that I needed to learn to take a joke. I have these texts as well. A Hollywood producer couldn't make this script up...literally the day before my trial after having blown his phone up for days, he gets the phone records and since the judge on my case doesn't grant continuances according to Jay, I am forced to plea out to the charges in my case because I have no confidence Jay can put together an effective defense in less than a day after having waited until the last minute to subpoena the phone records. I'm sure Jay is a great husband and father, I've seen how cordial he is to fellow attorneys, prosecutors, and the judges in the courtroom, and I'm sure he has gotten good results for other clients of his. However, regarding my relationship with him as a client, he was one person before I wrote the check, and an entirely different person after I wrote it. Not sure if his opinion of me changed after he got a copy of my criminal history or read the details of my harassing phone calls case. All I know is I did not receive the vigorous defense I was promised."

"I hired Jay after my 17 year old son got a speeding ticket in which there was a high possibility he would get his license suspended for 6 months. Jay was very detailed on our initial phone call regarding our situation. After hiring him, he set out a plan (community service, defensive driving courses, ect).
